Description & Fitment
Add a CB antenna to the TeraFlex Alta Cargo Rack on a 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK or JK Unlimited with this bracket kit. The bracket is CNC laser cut and formed steel with a textured black powder coat. It is only compatible with the Alta Cargo Rack (4830010 black rails or 4830000 silver rails), which itself needs the Alpha HD Hinged Carrier and an Alpha HD Adjustable Spare Tire Mount; none of those are included.

Does it fit without the Alta rack?
No. TeraFlex says it is only compatible with the Alta Cargo Rack, 4830010 (black rails) or 4830000 (silver rails).
What else does the Alta rack need?
The Alpha HD Hinged Spare Tire Carrier (4838100, or 4838150 with the 5x5" mount) and an Alpha HD Adjustable Spare Tire Mount (4838130, 4838235 or 4838188).
Is an antenna included?
No antenna is listed; the kit is the mounting bracket.

Installation

Here's the short version. Follow TeraFlex's install sheet (below) for your Jeep's exact steps and torque values.
- Fit two 1/4" carriage bolts into the square holes in the front right corner of the Alta cargo rack basket.
- Set the CB antenna mount over the bolts and fit the 1/4" washers and lock nuts, torqued to 7 ft-lbs (9 N-m).
- Mount your CB antenna in one of the top two holes of the mount, following the antenna maker's instructions.

TeraFlex's warranty list covers its CB mounts for life against defects in materials and workmanship.- TeraFlex extends its limited warranty only to the consumer who first bought the product, and only on the vehicle the part was first installed on. It does not pass to a later owner.
- Coverage starts on the purchase date and does not restart if a part is repaired or replaced.
- For a covered defect, TeraFlex will either repair or replace the product (or the faulty part) free of charge or refund the purchase price, at its discretion, and it pays the freight to send a repaired or replacement part back to you.
- Not covered: damage from transportation, storage, improper use, skipped instructions or preventive maintenance, modifications, unauthorized repair, normal wear and tear, product finish, improper installation or maintenance, racing or competition, or accidents, abuse and neglect. Improper installation, poor maintenance, racing or competition use, and neglect or abuse void the warranty.
- Paint and powder coat finishes carry 90 days of defect coverage only, not wear from use.
- Claims: contact us first. Keep your proof of purchase or original invoice; removing the part from the vehicle and the inbound shipping are the owner's responsibility.
