Description & Fitment
This is the boxed version of the TeraFlex rear-corner CB antenna bracket for the 1997-2006 Wrangler TJ, Wrangler Unlimited LJ, 1987-1995 Wrangler YJ or a CJ-5, CJ-7 or CJ-8 Scrambler. The bracket sits between the tail light and the body, and installation may call for one 1/4" hole through the body for the included bolt. Each side is sold on its own, driver or passenger, and ships with a 1/4" fine-thread bolt and nut. The CB antenna is not included, and the job takes roughly 30 minutes.

Only the packaging: this version is boxed, 1912001/1912002 are skin packed. The bracket and hardware are the same.

Yes. TeraFlex asks you to read its instruction sheet fully before you start, check the parts list against the box, and judge whether you have the experience to do the work yourself.
Installation
Here's the short version. Follow TeraFlex's install sheet (below) for your Jeep's exact steps and torque values.
- Remove the four lens cover screws from the tail lamp on the side the bracket is made for.
- With the cover off, loosen the three screws holding the tail lamp housing to the body; most CB antennas need a ground, and the ground wire can go under one of these screws.
- Position the bracket between the body and the tail light housing, with its mounting portion toward the outside edge of the housing.
- Check the bracket position and secure it with the stock screws.
- Drilling is required, so get the position right first: drill a 1/4" hole through the bracket hole directly above the tail light housing and through the body, and secure the bracket with the 1/4" nut and bolt.
- Reattach the tail light cover, then mount and tune the antenna following its maker's instructions.

TeraFlex's warranty list covers its CB mounts for life against defects in materials and workmanship. Paint and powder coat finishes carry 90 days (defects only).- TeraFlex extends its limited warranty only to the consumer who first bought the product, and only on the vehicle the part was first installed on. It does not pass to a later owner.
- Coverage starts on the purchase date and does not restart if a part is repaired or replaced.
- For a covered defect, TeraFlex will either repair or replace the product (or the faulty part) free of charge or refund the purchase price, at its discretion, and it pays the freight to send a repaired or replacement part back to you.
- Not covered: damage from transportation, storage, improper use, skipped instructions or preventive maintenance, modifications, unauthorized repair, normal wear and tear, product finish, improper installation or maintenance, racing or competition, or accidents, abuse and neglect. Improper installation, poor maintenance, racing or competition use, and neglect or abuse void the warranty.
- Paint and powder coat finishes carry 90 days of defect coverage only, not wear from use.
- Claims: contact us first. Keep your proof of purchase or original invoice; removing the part from the vehicle and the inbound shipping are the owner's responsibility.
