Description & Fitment
For a CB antenna on a 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK or JK Unlimited, this boxed TeraFlex bracket in black powder coat bolts on at the factory spare tire carrier mounting locations. It works whether or not the factory spare tire mount stays on, and either of its two holes takes your antenna. Because the antenna mounts behind the spare tire, TeraFlex notes flex may be limited in some applications. TeraFlex puts the labor at about half an hour.

Can I run it with a TeraFlex Alpha carrier?
Not with the Alpha HD Hinged Spare Tire Carrier or the Alpha HD Adjustable Spare Tire Mount; TeraFlex says it is not compatible with either.
Does it fit a JK Unlimited?
Yes. TeraFlex lists JK Wrangler 2-door and JK Unlimited 4-door models.
How is it different from 4997100?
Only the packaging: 4997190 is boxed, 4997100 is skin packed.

Installation
Here's the short version. Follow TeraFlex's install sheet (below) for your Jeep's exact steps and torque values.
- Remove the spare tire.
- Remove the two factory bolts from the upper right side of the factory spare tire mount.
- Fit the CB antenna mount as shown with the two new 8mm x 40 bolts, split lock washers and flat washers (either of the bracket's two holes takes the antenna).
- Tighten the new bolts to no more than 10 ft-lbs.
- Install the antenna following its maker's instructions, routing the cable through the tailgate grommet and, with the inside tailgate cover removed, alongside the brake light wires; refit the cover.
- Reinstall the spare tire on the tire carrier.

TeraFlex's warranty list covers its CB mounts for life against defects in materials and workmanship. Paint and powder coat finishes carry 90 days (defects only).- TeraFlex extends its limited warranty only to the consumer who first bought the product, and only on the vehicle the part was first installed on. It does not pass to a later owner.
- Coverage starts on the purchase date and does not restart if a part is repaired or replaced.
- For a covered defect, TeraFlex will either repair or replace the product (or the faulty part) free of charge or refund the purchase price, at its discretion, and it pays the freight to send a repaired or replacement part back to you.
- Not covered: damage from transportation, storage, improper use, skipped instructions or preventive maintenance, modifications, unauthorized repair, normal wear and tear, product finish, improper installation or maintenance, racing or competition, or accidents, abuse and neglect. Improper installation, poor maintenance, racing or competition use, and neglect or abuse void the warranty.
- Paint and powder coat finishes carry 90 days of defect coverage only, not wear from use.
- Claims: contact us first. Keep your proof of purchase or original invoice; removing the part from the vehicle and the inbound shipping are the owner's responsibility.
