Description & Fitment

TeraFlex JK Coil Spring Spacers level out a loaded 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK or JK Unlimited, whether it sits at stock height or is already lifted. Front spacers come in 0.5", 1" and 2.5"; rear spacers in 0.5", 1", 2" and 2.5". The rear spacers add TeraFlex's spring retainer and guide, which TeraFlex calls industry exclusive: it helps pull the coil back into place during extreme articulation so the spring doesn't drop out. Each spacer is sold individually.

About TeraFlex

TERAFLEX.

TeraFlex describes itself as a Jeep company at heart, started and staffed by people who drive them. It designs, engineers and builds suspension systems, shocks, axles and performance parts, with the Wrangler and Gladiator at the center of the range.

The company traces its roots to the 1950s and MEPCO (Military Equipment Parts Company), an early supplier of Jeep parts. TeraFlex Manufacturing followed in 1996 to build heavy-duty suspension for the TJ Wrangler, and today's catalog runs from full lift systems and the Falcon shock line to axles, steering and armor.

Authorized TeraFlex dealer. Prestige Truck is an authorized TeraFlex dealer, so what we sell is new and genuine TeraFlex. In TeraFlex's words, its limited warranty extends "only to the consumer who originally purchased the product," so keep your receipt with your build records.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many do I need?

Spacers are sold individually, so order two for each axle you want to raise.

What's different about the rear spacers?

They include TeraFlex's spring retainer and guide, which helps realign the coil during extreme articulation so it doesn't drop out.

Do they fit a JL?

No. These are JK spacers; the JL/JT front spacer is a separate part, 05-01-109-100.

What warranty does TeraFlex give?

TeraFlex covers its coil springs for life against defects in materials and workmanship, and paint and powder coat finishes for 90 days. Its list doesn't name a separate term for spring spacers, so contact us and we'll confirm the coverage before you order.

How quickly does it ship?

Shipping is free to the lower 48 states, and most orders arrive within 1-5 business days. We email your tracking number as soon as it ships.

Can you confirm it's the right part before I order?

Yes. Contact us with your VIN or year, model and trim, plus your lift and load, and we'll check it against TeraFlex's fitment information before it ships.

Installation

What's involvedRemove the wheels, disconnect the shocks and track bar at the axle and lower the axle to remove the springs. Slide the spacer and isolator onto the jounce tube, refit the springs and torque the track bar and control arms at ride height.
ToolsBasic mechanics tool set

Here's the short version. Follow TeraFlex's install sheet (below) for your Jeep's exact steps and torque values.

  1. Raise and support the Jeep by the frame so the axles can droop, remove the wheels and loosen, but do not remove, all control arm bolts (21mm and 18mm).
  2. Disconnect the shocks at the axle (18mm), support the axle and disconnect the track bar at the axle (21mm); free the brake line from its axle-side brackets and, on some applications, disconnect the sway bar links.
  3. Lower the axle until the springs come out, without overstretching the ABS and breather lines, and remove each spring and its isolator.
  4. Slide the spacer and then the isolator up the jounce tube, spacer first with its flare facing down, and reinstall the spring with its bottom seated in the groove of the spring pad.
  5. Reconnect the shocks at 56 ft-lbs and refit the wheels (lug nuts 95-115 ft-lbs).
  6. On the ground reconnect the track bar at 125 ft-lbs, then at ride height torque the upper control arms to 75 ft-lbs and the lower arms to 117 ft-lbs at the axle and 125 ft-lbs at the frame.
