The washers sit in the factory cam bolt locations at the front lower and rear upper control arms and lock each cam bolt so it cannot rotate. That stops the movement that throws the axle out of alignment, so your settings stay where the shop set them. It is a small, simple upgrade that takes about 1 hour to install.

Installation
Here's the short version. Follow TeraFlex's install sheet (below) for your Jeep's exact steps and torque values.
- Remove the front lower control arm bolts with a 21mm socket and wrench.
- Fit the new cam-bolt washers on both sides of the front lower control arm mounts, reinstall the bolts and torque them to 125 ft-lbs.
- Remove the rear upper control arm bolts with a 21mm socket.
- Fit the cam-bolt washers on both sides of the rear upper control arm mounts, reinstall the bolts and torque them to 75 ft-lbs.
- Recheck suspension and driveline fasteners for torque after the first 100 miles and every 3,000 miles after that.

TeraFlex covers its control arms and IR bushings for life against defects in materials and workmanship. Alpine control arm bushings other than IR carry 1 year, and paint and powder coat finishes 90 days (defects only).- TeraFlex extends its limited warranty only to the consumer who first bought the product, and only on the vehicle the part was first installed on. It does not pass to a later owner.
- Coverage starts on the purchase date and does not restart if a part is repaired or replaced.
- For a covered defect, TeraFlex will either repair or replace the product (or the faulty part) free of charge or refund the purchase price, at its discretion, and it pays the freight to send a repaired or replacement part back to you.
- Not covered: damage from transportation, storage, improper use, skipped instructions or preventive maintenance, modifications, unauthorized repair, normal wear and tear, product finish, improper installation or maintenance, racing or competition, or accidents, abuse and neglect. Improper installation, poor maintenance, racing or competition use, and neglect or abuse void the warranty.
- Paint and powder coat finishes carry 90 days of defect coverage only, not wear from use.
- Claims: contact us first. Keep your proof of purchase or original invoice; removing the part from the vehicle and the inbound shipping are the owner's responsibility.
