Description & Fitment
TeraFlex's Falcon SpringLock Coilover Ride Height Adjustment Tool is made for setting lift height on Falcon coilover shocks. TeraFlex says it safely locks the springs in place so you can make ride height adjustments with the coilover still on the vehicle. It is a tool only; no coilover parts are included.
Fitment & Compatibility
Check your setup: Falcon coilover shocks on any vehicle. The tool works by coilover type, so there is no year, make or model list.
Not included: Springs, coilovers or other suspension parts; this is the adjustment tool alone.
About TeraFlex
TeraFlex describes itself as a Jeep company at heart, started and staffed by people who drive them. It designs, engineers and builds suspension systems, shocks, axles and performance parts, with the Wrangler and Gladiator at the center of the range.
The company traces its roots to the 1950s and MEPCO (Military Equipment Parts Company), an early supplier of Jeep parts. TeraFlex Manufacturing followed in 1996 to build heavy-duty suspension for the TJ Wrangler, and today's catalog runs from full lift systems and the Falcon shock line to axles, steering and armor.
Authorized TeraFlex dealer. Prestige Truck is an authorized TeraFlex dealer, so what we sell is new and genuine TeraFlex. In TeraFlex's words, its limited warranty extends "only to the consumer who originally purchased the product," so keep your receipt with your build records.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which coilovers does it work with?
TeraFlex makes it for Falcon coilover shocks.
Do I need to remove the coilover?
No. TeraFlex says the tool lets you adjust lift height on the vehicle.
Is it vehicle-specific?
No. It works by coilover, not by vehicle.
What warranty does TeraFlex give?
TeraFlex's policy lists Falcon products, this SpringLock tool included, at 1 year, and finishes at 90 days against defects. Some Falcon guides state longer, so contact us to confirm coverage or start a claim.
How quickly does it ship?
Shipping is free to the lower 48 states, and most orders arrive within 1-5 business days. We email your tracking number as soon as it ships.
Can you confirm it's the right part before I order?
Yes. Contact us with your VIN or year, model and trim and what's on the Jeep now, and we'll check it against TeraFlex's fitment information before it ships.
Installation
Here's the short version. Follow TeraFlex's install sheet (below) for your Jeep's exact steps and torque values.
- Put the coilover in a spring compressor and compress it slowly, following the compressor's own safety instructions, then remove the eyelet snap ring and the coil spring perch.
- Uncompress the coils slowly and remove the first coil, then the slider if the other coil is also being replaced.
- Fit the lighter-rate coil first, slide on the supplied slider seal saver, then fit the second coil with the coil ends 180 degrees apart; replacement springs must be the same 12" upper and 14" lower lengths.
- Compress the coils, fit the spring perch and the eyelet snap ring, confirm the snap ring is fully seated, seat the perch on it and uncompress slowly.
- Grease the inside of the slider, press it down evenly over the seal saver onto the shock body, then remove the slider guard bullet and excess grease.
- Set the crossover: loosen the two 2.5mm hex screws, move the snap ring to the groove you want (0.25" per groove), push the sections back together, torque the screws to 20 in-lbs and check for about 0.5" gap at settled ride height.

Warranty
TeraFlex's warranty policy lists all Falcon products at 1 year, and this SpringLock tool is a Falcon product; some Falcon quick-start guides state a longer term, so contact us to confirm the current Falcon coverage before you rely on it. TeraFlex covers paint and powder coat finishes for 90 days (defects only).- TeraFlex extends its limited warranty only to the consumer who first bought the product, and only on the vehicle the part was first installed on. It does not pass to a later owner.
- Coverage starts on the purchase date and does not restart if a part is repaired or replaced.
- For a covered defect, TeraFlex will either repair or replace the product (or the faulty part) free of charge or refund the purchase price, at its discretion, and it pays the freight to send a repaired or replacement part back to you.
- Not covered: damage from transportation, storage, improper use, skipped instructions or preventive maintenance, modifications, unauthorized repair, normal wear and tear, product finish, improper installation or maintenance, racing or competition, or accidents, abuse and neglect. Improper installation, poor maintenance, racing or competition use, and neglect or abuse void the warranty.
- Paint and powder coat finishes carry 90 days of defect coverage only, not wear from use.
- Claims: contact us first. Keep your proof of purchase or original invoice; removing the part from the vehicle and the inbound shipping are the owner's responsibility.
