Description & Fitment
The TeraFlex Front Sway Bar Quick Disconnect Kit for the 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK and JK Unlimited comes with 10" links for a 3" to 4" lift (1753000) or 8.5" links for stock height to 2.5" (1753010). The upper link end has an OEM-grade polyurethane shoulder ball in its socket, which TeraFlex says is quiet, durable and needs no maintenance; the lower end has a big polyurethane ball riding on a stainless-steel pin. Off-road, the links unhook in moments and fold up clear, so the axle can flex freely. The TeraFlex parts list adds retainer brackets, axle-side and parking studs, bow tie pins and grease zerks.

TeraFlex measures its sway bar link lengths center-to-center, from the middle of one mounting point to the middle of the other.
Installation

Here's the short version. Follow TeraFlex's install sheet (below) for your Jeep's exact steps and torque values.
- Remove the factory sway bar link (18mm), keeping the nut from its upper stud for later.
- Insert the lower stud into the axle bracket with the washer and nylock nut, taking care not to overtighten the soft stainless threads.
- Fit the link's upper stud into the factory sway bar with its washer and nylock nut, holding the stud with a 6mm Allen while tightening with an 18mm, and torque to 75 ft-lbs.
- Slide the lower end of the link onto the axle stud (a little grease helps; it should be a tight fit), add the washer and insert the bow tie pin.
- Remove the front body mount nut, slide on the retaining bracket and secure it with the saved factory nut, then thread the parking stud into the bracket with thread lock and the jam nut; torque the body mount to 80 ft-lbs and the jam nut to 75 ft-lbs.
- Repeat on the other side.

TeraFlex covers its sway bars and links for life against defects in materials and workmanship. Its warranty list names no term for sway bar mounts or the universal tube disconnect plate, so contact us before ordering one of those and we will confirm that coverage.- TeraFlex extends its limited warranty only to the consumer who first bought the product, and only on the vehicle the part was first installed on. It does not pass to a later owner.
- Coverage starts on the purchase date and does not restart if a part is repaired or replaced.
- For a covered defect, TeraFlex will either repair or replace the product (or the faulty part) free of charge or refund the purchase price, at its discretion, and it pays the freight to send a repaired or replacement part back to you.
- Not covered: damage from transportation, storage, improper use, skipped instructions or preventive maintenance, modifications, unauthorized repair, normal wear and tear, product finish, improper installation or maintenance, racing or competition, or accidents, abuse and neglect. Improper installation, poor maintenance, racing or competition use, and neglect or abuse void the warranty.
- Paint and powder coat finishes carry 90 days of defect coverage only, not wear from use.
- Claims: contact us first. Keep your proof of purchase or original invoice; removing the part from the vehicle and the inbound shipping are the owner's responsibility.
