For the rear leaf springs of a 1987-1995 Jeep Wrangler YJ, TeraFlex's HD KickBack Shackle Kit swaps the weak stock shackles for a stronger pair that TeraFlex says increases rear leaf spring travel for more off-road capability. The shackles are made from 1/4" steel, zinc plated against corrosion, with a bolted cross brace for rigidity and strength. TeraFlex's warranty list names no specific term for its leaf spring shackles, so contact us and we will confirm the coverage before you order. Paint and powder coat finishes carry 90 days (defects only).- TeraFlex extends its limited warranty only to the consumer who first bought the product, and only on the vehicle the part was first installed on. It does not pass to a later owner.
- Coverage starts on the purchase date and does not restart if a part is repaired or replaced.
- For a covered defect, TeraFlex will either repair or replace the product (or the faulty part) free of charge or refund the purchase price, at its discretion, and it pays the freight to send a repaired or replacement part back to you.
- Not covered: damage from transportation, storage, improper use, skipped instructions or preventive maintenance, modifications, unauthorized repair, normal wear and tear, product finish, improper installation or maintenance, racing or competition, or accidents, abuse and neglect. Improper installation, poor maintenance, racing or competition use, and neglect or abuse void the warranty.
