Description & Fitment
The TeraFlex High Steer Sway Bar Mount Kit raises and relocates the front sway bar mounts so the bar clears high steer steering parts. TeraFlex lists it for 4" to 6" lifted, high steer equipped 1997-2006 Wrangler TJ and LJ (Dana 30 or Rubicon Dana 44 front axle), 1994-1995 Wrangler YJ with a Dana 30, Cherokee XJ, Grand Cherokee ZJ and Comanche MJ. The mounts are 3/8" steel, laser cut and then formed. TeraFlex estimates 4 to 5 hours to fit them.

How is sway bar link length measured?
TeraFlex measures its sway bar link lengths center-to-center, from the middle of one mounting point to the middle of the other.
Installation
Here's the short version. Follow TeraFlex's install sheet (below) for your Jeep's exact steps and torque values.
- Cut the stock sway bar mounts off where they join the spring pad bracket, grind the area smooth and paint it against rust.
- Clean all grease and rust off the knuckle so the new mount can be welded properly.
- Set the new sway bar mount vertical on the inner knuckle, tack weld it, check the position and then final weld (professional welding required).
- Attach the sway bar link to the new mount; the relocated mount needs a shorter link (TeraFlex QD132-4, not included).
- Repeat on the other side, and after 500 miles check all bolts and re-torque if needed.

TeraFlex covers its sway bars and links for life against defects in materials and workmanship. Its warranty list names no term for sway bar mounts or the universal tube disconnect plate, so contact us before ordering one of those and we will confirm that coverage.- TeraFlex extends its limited warranty only to the consumer who first bought the product, and only on the vehicle the part was first installed on. It does not pass to a later owner.
- Coverage starts on the purchase date and does not restart if a part is repaired or replaced.
- For a covered defect, TeraFlex will either repair or replace the product (or the faulty part) free of charge or refund the purchase price, at its discretion, and it pays the freight to send a repaired or replacement part back to you.
- Not covered: damage from transportation, storage, improper use, skipped instructions or preventive maintenance, modifications, unauthorized repair, normal wear and tear, product finish, improper installation or maintenance, racing or competition, or accidents, abuse and neglect. Improper installation, poor maintenance, racing or competition use, and neglect or abuse void the warranty.
- Paint and powder coat finishes carry 90 days of defect coverage only, not wear from use.
- Claims: contact us first. Keep your proof of purchase or original invoice; removing the part from the vehicle and the inbound shipping are the owner's responsibility.
