Description & Fitment
For the 2-door 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK with a factory hardtop, this TeraFlex Nebo Main Rail Kit puts a low, streamlined pair of rails on the roof. The 10-Series T-slot channels accept accessory hardware and crossbars from brands such as Thule or Yakima, and the 4-piece cargo slat kit adds a platform. TeraFlex's 2-door sheet lists 43" between rails, 25" rails between caps, 2-3/8" of added height and the same 850 lb static / 200 lb dynamic rating. Hardtop only: the main rail kit requires drilling into the factory hardtop, and TeraFlex says it does not fit soft-top models.

No. This is the 2-door kit; the 4-door JK Unlimited uses 4722000 (silver) or 4722010 (black).
Do I have to drill my hardtop?
Yes. TeraFlex says the Nebo main rail kit requires drilling into the factory hardtop, and it does not fit soft tops.
What cargo slats go with it?
The TeraFlex Nebo 4-piece cargo slat kit, 4722052 (silver) or 4722062 (black), sold separately.

Installation

Here's the short version. Follow TeraFlex's install sheet (below) for your Jeep's exact steps and torque values.
- Remove the freedom panels and hardtop per the owner's manual; unzip the sport bar cover behind the passenger seat, remove the satellite antenna base plate (four 13mm fasteners), free the antenna and unplug it at the passenger B-pillar (speaker pod screws back to 90 in-lbs / 10 Nm).
- With cardboard under the cover and the templates lined up on the zipper tape and seams, slit the sport bar cover at the marked spots for the front and rear brackets on both sides.
- Fit the antenna to the new satellite antenna bracket, slip the front support bracket tabs through the slits and bolt each front bracket to the OEM base plate with thread locker, tightening the bolt under the antenna bracket to 14 ft-lbs (19 Nm) and leaving the rest loose.
- Clamp the U-bolts and clamp brackets around the rear sport bar under the cover (trim the foam pad 4-1/4" from the back), fit the rear brackets over the U-bolt ends finger tight with the slit washers, nuts and push-on caps.
- Tape the templates centered on the hardtop's outer ribs at 43-15/16" [111.6 cm] centerline to centerline, center-punch all 16 holes and drill the four large ones with an 11/32" brad tip bit and the rest with a 1/4" bit, then fit the upper and lower mounts with their gaskets and O-rings at each corner (p11) and slide on the main rails and caps (p12).
- With a helper, set the hardtop on, align the brackets, shim any gap over 1/16" [1.5 mm] (drill the OEM lower plate hole to 3/4" if a bolt hits it, p14), then tighten the front bracket M8 bolts to 14 ft-lbs [19 Nm] and the rear U-bolts to 44 in-lbs [5 Nm]; fit the rear rail caps (p16).

TeraFlex's warranty list covers its racks, the Nebo roof rack rails included for life against defects in materials and workmanship.- TeraFlex extends its limited warranty only to the consumer who first bought the product, and only on the vehicle the part was first installed on. It does not pass to a later owner.
- Coverage starts on the purchase date and does not restart if a part is repaired or replaced.
- For a covered defect, TeraFlex will either repair or replace the product (or the faulty part) free of charge or refund the purchase price, at its discretion, and it pays the freight to send a repaired or replacement part back to you.
- Not covered: damage from transportation, storage, improper use, skipped instructions or preventive maintenance, modifications, unauthorized repair, normal wear and tear, product finish, improper installation or maintenance, racing or competition, or accidents, abuse and neglect. Improper installation, poor maintenance, racing or competition use, and neglect or abuse void the warranty.
- Paint and powder coat finishes carry 90 days of defect coverage only, not wear from use.
- Claims: contact us first. Keep your proof of purchase or original invoice; removing the part from the vehicle and the inbound shipping are the owner's responsibility.
