Description & Fitment
The TeraFlex Nebo Roof Rack Main Rail Kit is the base of the Nebo roof rack on a 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK Unlimited 4-door with the factory hardtop. Its low-profile rails are shaped to cut wind noise and drag, and their 10-Series T-slots take accessory hardware for a shovel, axe or jack as well as crossbars from brands such as Thule or Yakima. The rails sit 43" apart, measure 45.5" long and carry an 850 lb static or 200 lb dynamic load rating. Installation requires drilling into the factory hardtop, it does not fit soft-top models, and cargo slat and raised rail kits are sold separately.

Will it fit a soft top?
No. TeraFlex says the Nebo rack does not fit soft-top models, and the main rails require drilling into the factory hardtop.
Can I use crossbars or sport carriers?
Yes. The 10-Series T-slots accept aftermarket crossbars such as Thule or Yakima; TeraFlex notes some carriers need adapters from the carrier maker.
What load does the rack handle?

Installation

Here's the short version. Follow TeraFlex's install sheet (below) for your Jeep's exact steps and torque values.
- Remove the freedom panels and hardtop per the owner's manual; unzip the sport bar padding behind the passenger seat, remove the satellite antenna mounting plate (four 13mm fasteners), free the antenna and unplug its connector at the passenger B-pillar (speaker pod screws back to 90 in-lbs / 10 Nm).
- With cardboard under the padding and the supplied templates lined up on the zipper tape and seams, slit the sport bar padding with a ruler and sharp X-ACTO knife at the marked spots on both sides.
- Slip the bracket tabs through the slits and fit the front brackets with the OEM plate and M8 hardware (thread locker), tightening the marked screw to 14 ft-lbs (19 Nm) and leaving the rest loose; fit the new satellite antenna bracket, then the rear brackets loosely (p10).
- Tape the drilling templates centered on the hardtop's outer ribs at 43-15/16" [111.6 cm] centerline to centerline front and rear, center-punch all 16 holes and drill the four large ones with an 11/32" brad tip bit and the rest with a 1/4" bit, using light pressure.
- Fit the feet, spacers, gaskets and O-rings at all four corners with the T-nut hardware hand-tight; with a helper set the hardtop on, align and bolt the brackets hand-tight, shim any gap over 1/16" [1.5 mm], then tighten the three M8 bolts on each bracket to 14 ft-lbs [19 Nm].
- Refit the satellite antenna, zip up the padding, slide the main rails onto the T-nuts from the rear and line them up over the M8 bolts, tighten the support shoulder bolts to 105 in-lbs [12 Nm] and fit the front caps; set the hardtop straight down, tighten the four M8 bolts to 14 ft-lbs [19 Nm] and refit the OEM fasteners and freedom panels.

TeraFlex's warranty list covers its racks, the Nebo roof rack rails included for life against defects in materials and workmanship.- TeraFlex extends its limited warranty only to the consumer who first bought the product, and only on the vehicle the part was first installed on. It does not pass to a later owner.
- Coverage starts on the purchase date and does not restart if a part is repaired or replaced.
- For a covered defect, TeraFlex will either repair or replace the product (or the faulty part) free of charge or refund the purchase price, at its discretion, and it pays the freight to send a repaired or replacement part back to you.
- Not covered: damage from transportation, storage, improper use, skipped instructions or preventive maintenance, modifications, unauthorized repair, normal wear and tear, product finish, improper installation or maintenance, racing or competition, or accidents, abuse and neglect. Improper installation, poor maintenance, racing or competition use, and neglect or abuse void the warranty.
- Paint and powder coat finishes carry 90 days of defect coverage only, not wear from use.
