Description & Fitment
TeraFlex Progressive Bump Stop Kits suit a 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK with a mild lift: choose the front kit for a 1.5" lift (1958150) or the front and rear kit for a 2.5" lift (1958200). The stops are made from TeraFlex's nitrogen-charged, closed-cell microcellular polyurethane, which it says will not fade under heavy use and stays flexible in heat or sub-zero cold. They pop into the existing factory bump stop locations, and TeraFlex says the progressive build takes the harshness out of bottoming out on the trail or on rough highways.

Installation
Here's the short version. Follow TeraFlex's install sheet (below) for your Jeep's exact steps and torque values.
- Front: raise and support the Jeep, remove the wheels, support the axle, loosen (do not remove) all front control arm bolts (21mm), and disconnect the track bar (21mm, flag nut), shocks and sway bar links at the axle (18mm).
- Lower the jack until the springs come free and remove them, watching that the ABS and brake lines and breathers are not overstretched.
- Drill a 3/8" (9.5mm) hole in the center of each front spring pad, then raise the axle on a jack to seat the front extended bump stop and cup extension in the jounce tube with the marking facing the front (a wood block and silicone spray help).
- Refit the springs (with the isolators) together with the SpeedBump pads, driver side first, rotate them until seated, and bolt the pads through with the nut under the spring pad; refit the shocks at 56 ft-lbs (76 Nm) and sway bar links at 75 ft-lbs top and bottom.
- Rear: bolt the 954600 lower bump stop pads to the axle with the extended end facing forward, two bolts and nylock nuts each, at 7 ft-lbs (9.5 Nm).
- Lower the Jeep, refit the front track bar at 125 ft-lbs (frame-side bolt in from the front, nut to the rear), and torque the upper control arm bolts to 75 ft-lbs and all lowers to 125 ft-lbs.

TeraFlex covers its bump stops for life against defects in materials and workmanship.- TeraFlex extends its limited warranty only to the consumer who first bought the product, and only on the vehicle the part was first installed on. It does not pass to a later owner.
- Coverage starts on the purchase date and does not restart if a part is repaired or replaced.
- For a covered defect, TeraFlex will either repair or replace the product (or the faulty part) free of charge or refund the purchase price, at its discretion, and it pays the freight to send a repaired or replacement part back to you.
- Not covered: damage from transportation, storage, improper use, skipped instructions or preventive maintenance, modifications, unauthorized repair, normal wear and tear, product finish, improper installation or maintenance, racing or competition, or accidents, abuse and neglect. Improper installation, poor maintenance, racing or competition use, and neglect or abuse void the warranty.
- Paint and powder coat finishes carry 90 days of defect coverage only, not wear from use.
