Description & Fitment
The TeraFlex Rear Track Bar Axle Bracket Kit bolts to the rear axle of a 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ or LJ Unlimited to re-center the axle after a lift. TeraFlex says it corrects roll center, reduces body roll, stops tail wag and restores factory handling. It is optimized for a 3" lift and works up to 6" when used with TeraFlex's HD Adjustable Rear Track Bar (1744000), which is required from 3.5". It is not compatible with Pro LCG long arm systems.

Installation
Here's the short version. Follow TeraFlex's install sheet (below) for your Jeep's exact steps and torque values.
- Raise and support the vehicle at the factory service manual support points, and remove and discard the factory dust cover.
- Remove the track bar nut and bolt at the axle with a T55 Torx and keep them for reuse.
- Set the new bracket against the factory bracket and fit the 5/16" bolts in the top and lower holes with lock nuts loose; the factory 5/16" holes may need drilling to fit.
- Fit the 1/2" bolt through the center hole and the factory hole with the spacer between, then torque the 5/16" hardware to 30 ft-lbs and the 1/2" bolt to 75 ft-lbs; tack-welding the bracket to the factory bracket is optional extra security.
- Lower the vehicle, set the track bar in the new bracket with the factory nut and bolt, and torque it to 75 ft-lbs.

TeraFlex covers its track bars for life against defects in materials and workmanship, and paint and powder coat finishes for 90 days (defects only).- TeraFlex extends its limited warranty only to the consumer who first bought the product, and only on the vehicle the part was first installed on. It does not pass to a later owner.
- Coverage starts on the purchase date and does not restart if a part is repaired or replaced.
- For a covered defect, TeraFlex will either repair or replace the product (or the faulty part) free of charge or refund the purchase price, at its discretion, and it pays the freight to send a repaired or replacement part back to you.
- Not covered: damage from transportation, storage, improper use, skipped instructions or preventive maintenance, modifications, unauthorized repair, normal wear and tear, product finish, improper installation or maintenance, racing or competition, or accidents, abuse and neglect. Improper installation, poor maintenance, racing or competition use, and neglect or abuse void the warranty.
- Paint and powder coat finishes carry 90 days of defect coverage only, not wear from use.
- Claims: contact us first. Keep your proof of purchase or original invoice; removing the part from the vehicle and the inbound shipping are the owner's responsibility.
