Description & Fitment
To add a winch to a TeraFlex RockGuard Explorer Front Bumper on a 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK or JK Unlimited, you need this winch mount plate kit; TeraFlex lists it as required for that bumper. The plate is reinforced 1/4"-thick steel with an offset bolt pattern that TeraFlex says fits all major offset-pattern winches, including the larger Warn PowerPlant. It does not take center-mount winches. The bumper and the winch are sold separately.

Warranty
TeraFlex's warranty list names no term for winch mount plates, so contact us before ordering and we will confirm the coverage.- TeraFlex extends its limited warranty only to the consumer who first bought the product, and only on the vehicle the part was first installed on. It does not pass to a later owner.
- Coverage starts on the purchase date and does not restart if a part is repaired or replaced.
- For a covered defect, TeraFlex will either repair or replace the product (or the faulty part) free of charge or refund the purchase price, at its discretion, and it pays the freight to send a repaired or replacement part back to you.
- Not covered: damage from transportation, storage, improper use, skipped instructions or preventive maintenance, modifications, unauthorized repair, normal wear and tear, product finish, improper installation or maintenance, racing or competition, or accidents, abuse and neglect. Improper installation, poor maintenance, racing or competition use, and neglect or abuse void the warranty.
- Paint and powder coat finishes carry 90 days of defect coverage only, not wear from use.
- Claims: contact us first. Keep your proof of purchase or original invoice; removing the part from the vehicle and the inbound shipping are the owner's responsibility.

Check the powder coat, welds and mounting tabs for freight damage before you sign for it if you can, match the hardware to the TeraFlex parts list, and contact us right away about any damage. Check it as soon as it arrives.- Look for crushed ends, punctures or tears in the carton.
- If something looks wrong, take photos of the box and the parts (and if a driver asks you to sign, note the damage on the receipt).
- Open the box and check the parts against the parts list before you install.
