The TeraFlex Shift Linkage Plate Kit (1900001) is for the short-wheelbase 1997-2002 Wrangler TJ. After a transfer case lowering kit or a body lift, the transfer case shift linkage can sit out of position; TeraFlex says this plate may be needed to put it back where it belongs. It works with either an automatic or a manual transmission.

TeraFlex says it may be necessary on a TJ with a transfer case lowering kit or a body lift, to put the shift linkage back in its proper location.
Does it fit my 2003-2006 TJ?
No. This kit is for the 1997-2002 TJ. For 2003-2006 TJ and LJ models, TeraFlex lists a separate kit, 1900003.

Installation
Here's the short version. Follow TeraFlex's install sheet (below) for your Jeep's exact steps and torque values.
- Pick the hole pair: use the outer holes at each end of the plate if the transfer case skid plate has been spaced down, or the inner holes if there are no spacers between the frame and the skid plate.
- Fit the shift linkage plate into the transfer case shift linkage with the two supplied 1/4" x 3/4" bolts and 1/4" lock nuts to correct the linkage geometry.

TeraFlex's warranty list names no term for transfer case shift linkage plate kits, so contact us before ordering and we will confirm the coverage.- TeraFlex extends its limited warranty only to the consumer who first bought the product, and only on the vehicle the part was first installed on. It does not pass to a later owner.
- Coverage starts on the purchase date and does not restart if a part is repaired or replaced.
- For a covered defect, TeraFlex will either repair or replace the product (or the faulty part) free of charge or refund the purchase price, at its discretion, and it pays the freight to send a repaired or replacement part back to you.
