Installation
Here's the short version. Follow TeraFlex's install sheet (below) for your Jeep's exact steps and torque values.
- With the suspension install already done, remove the bell crank-to-transfer case mounting bracket and save its bushing for reuse.
- Measure 0.925" up from the center of the bracket hole, draw a horizontal line across the top of the bracket and cut along it.
- Mount the new lowering adapter behind the cut bracket and tighten the two together.
- Press the saved bushing back into the upper hole of the bracket.
- Refit the bracket to the vehicle and reconnect the bell crank to it.

TeraFlex's warranty list names no term for transfer case shift linkage plate kits, so contact us before ordering and we will confirm the coverage.- TeraFlex extends its limited warranty only to the consumer who first bought the product, and only on the vehicle the part was first installed on. It does not pass to a later owner.
- Coverage starts on the purchase date and does not restart if a part is repaired or replaced.
- For a covered defect, TeraFlex will either repair or replace the product (or the faulty part) free of charge or refund the purchase price, at its discretion, and it pays the freight to send a repaired or replacement part back to you.
