Description & Fitment
The TeraFlex Rear Upper Shock Extension Bracket Kit bolts to the rear upper frame mount of a 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK or JK Unlimited and drops the shock mount down. With a 2"-2.5" lift kit, the brackets let factory-length shocks keep the right extended and collapsed lengths, which TeraFlex calls a must for proper handling on a lifted JK. It is an inexpensive way to keep the stock shocks.

Installation
Here's the short version. Follow TeraFlex's install sheet (below) for your Jeep's exact steps and torque values.
- Remove the rear shocks.
- Hold the left rear shock extension bracket in place with the supplied 5/16" bolt and nut and start one of the M10 x 90mm bolts.
- Slide the shock bar pin into place, fit the second M10 bolt, torque both M10 bolts to 37 ft-lbs and tighten the 5/16" bolt.
- Fit the bottom of the shock into the axle bracket and torque the bolt to 56 ft-lbs with the Jeep at ride height.
- Repeat on the other side.

TeraFlex's warranty list names no term for shock extension brackets, so contact us before ordering and we will confirm the coverage. Paint and powder coat finishes carry 90 days (defects only).- TeraFlex extends its limited warranty only to the consumer who first bought the product, and only on the vehicle the part was first installed on. It does not pass to a later owner.
- Coverage starts on the purchase date and does not restart if a part is repaired or replaced.
- For a covered defect, TeraFlex will either repair or replace the product (or the faulty part) free of charge or refund the purchase price, at its discretion, and it pays the freight to send a repaired or replacement part back to you.
- Not covered: damage from transportation, storage, improper use, skipped instructions or preventive maintenance, modifications, unauthorized repair, normal wear and tear, product finish, improper installation or maintenance, racing or competition, or accidents, abuse and neglect. Improper installation, poor maintenance, racing or competition use, and neglect or abuse void the warranty.
- Paint and powder coat finishes carry 90 days of defect coverage only, not wear from use.
- Claims: contact us first. Keep your proof of purchase or original invoice; removing the part from the vehicle and the inbound shipping are the owner's responsibility.
