Description & Fitment
The TeraFlex Front Upper Shock Extension Kit is a set of bolt-on studs for a 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK or JK Unlimited with a 2"-2.5" lift. They bolt to the front shock posts and extend the shocks down, so factory-length shocks get back usable extended and collapsed lengths and the lifted JK handles properly again. TeraFlex pitches them as the budget fix. The studs do not work with Falcon shocks.

Installation
Here's the short version. Follow TeraFlex's install sheet (below) for your Jeep's exact steps and torque values.
- Remove the front shocks.
- Take the stem bushings off and thread the shock extension onto the shock stem with thread locker.
- Fit the supplied washer on the extension, then one upper stem bushing oriented as shown.
- Pass the stem through the shock mount bracket, add the other upper stem bushing (oriented as shown) and a washer, and tighten the nut to 20 ft-lbs or until the bushings compress about 1/8".
- Fit the bottom of the shock into the axle bracket and torque the bolt to 56 ft-lbs with the Jeep at ride height.

TeraFlex's warranty list names no term for shock extension brackets, so contact us before ordering and we will confirm the coverage. Paint and powder coat finishes carry 90 days (defects only).- TeraFlex extends its limited warranty only to the consumer who first bought the product, and only on the vehicle the part was first installed on. It does not pass to a later owner.
- Coverage starts on the purchase date and does not restart if a part is repaired or replaced.
- For a covered defect, TeraFlex will either repair or replace the product (or the faulty part) free of charge or refund the purchase price, at its discretion, and it pays the freight to send a repaired or replacement part back to you.
- Not covered: damage from transportation, storage, improper use, skipped instructions or preventive maintenance, modifications, unauthorized repair, normal wear and tear, product finish, improper installation or maintenance, racing or competition, or accidents, abuse and neglect. Improper installation, poor maintenance, racing or competition use, and neglect or abuse void the warranty.
- Paint and powder coat finishes carry 90 days of defect coverage only, not wear from use.
- Claims: contact us first. Keep your proof of purchase or original invoice; removing the part from the vehicle and the inbound shipping are the owner's responsibility.
