Description & Fitment
Three TeraFlex spare tire relocation brackets for running a larger spare on the factory carrier. Kit 1907200 moves the spare mount out from the body so a tire up to 33" fits the rear bumper well, has gussets for strength, and fits the 2007-2018 Wrangler JK as well as the 1997-2006 TJ and LJ. Kits 4904200 and 4904204 are JK only: a slim bracket that raises the spare 1.5" so up to a 35" tire sits in the bumper well, with 4904204 adding the 3rd brake light extension. Both JK kits need the factory 3rd brake light bracket cut.

Which kit fits my TJ or LJ?
Only 1907200. TeraFlex lists it for the JK, JK Unlimited, TJ and LJ; 4904200 and 4904204 are for the 2007-2018 JK only.
Do the JK kits need any cutting?
Yes. TeraFlex says 4904200 and 4904204 require cutting the factory 3rd brake light bracket. With 4904200 you may also need a 3rd brake light extension (4904204 or 4997120) or a modification.
Do I keep my factory carrier?
Yes. These brackets mount a larger spare to the factory spare tire carrier and bracket.

Installation
Here's the short version. Follow TeraFlex's install sheet (below) for your Jeep's exact steps and torque values.
- Remove the factory spare tire, keeping its lug nuts for the extension bracket.
- Fit the supplied bolts and lock washers into the extension bracket in the holes for your Jeep (TJ and JK use different threaded holes, see the photo).
- Mount the extension bracket on the factory studs of the tailgate tire bracket with the supplied lock nuts and flat washers, and tighten the nuts.
- Hang the spare on the extension bracket studs and secure it with the original lug nuts; keep to tires of 33" or smaller and check the third brake light is still visible.

TeraFlex's warranty list names no term for spare tire relocation brackets, so contact us before ordering and we will confirm the coverage.- TeraFlex extends its limited warranty only to the consumer who first bought the product, and only on the vehicle the part was first installed on. It does not pass to a later owner.
- Coverage starts on the purchase date and does not restart if a part is repaired or replaced.
- For a covered defect, TeraFlex will either repair or replace the product (or the faulty part) free of charge or refund the purchase price, at its discretion, and it pays the freight to send a repaired or replacement part back to you.
- Not covered: damage from transportation, storage, improper use, skipped instructions or preventive maintenance, modifications, unauthorized repair, normal wear and tear, product finish, improper installation or maintenance, racing or competition, or accidents, abuse and neglect. Improper installation, poor maintenance, racing or competition use, and neglect or abuse void the warranty.
- Paint and powder coat finishes carry 90 days of defect coverage only, not wear from use.
- Claims: contact us first. Keep your proof of purchase or original invoice; removing the part from the vehicle and the inbound shipping are the owner's responsibility.

- If something looks wrong, take photos of the box and the parts (and if a driver asks you to sign, note the damage on the receipt).
