Description & Fitment
The TeraFlex Steering Stabilizer Relocation Kit raises the steering stabilizer on a 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK or JK Unlimited by nearly 2.5", moving the shaft and body up and away from rocks and trail damage. A 6061-T6 aluminum clamp and a forged grade 10.9 stud reposition the stabilizer, which TeraFlex says cuts the tie rod roll that leaves a dead spot of unresisted steering movement. Choose the version for a 1-3/8" stock tie rod or a 1-5/8" heavy-duty tie rod. The kit relocates your existing stabilizer; no stabilizer is included.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does it work with a Falcon Nexus EF stabilizer?
No. TeraFlex says neither version works with Falcon Nexus EF steering stabilizers, and the 1-5/8" version also does not work with FOX ATS stabilizers.
Which version do I need?
Measure your tie rod: 1123140 fits the 1-3/8" stock JK tie rod, 1123160 fits a 1-5/8" heavy-duty tie rod.
Is a stabilizer included?
No. The kit moves the stabilizer you already run; it does not include one.
What warranty does TeraFlex give on this relocation kit?

Here's the short version. Follow TeraFlex's install sheet (below) for your Jeep's exact steps and torque values.
- Chock the rear tires, raise the front of the Jeep until the tires are off the ground and support it at the axle (this helps line up the track bar bolt).
- Remove the steering stabilizer (18mm) and the bolt and nut from the factory stabilizer tie rod clamp (15mm), pry the factory mount open with a large pry bar and slide it toward the passenger-side tie rod end to take it off.
- Remove the axle-side track bar bolt (21mm) and replace it with the supplied track bar bolt/stabilizer stud, using the factory nut torqued to 125 ft-lbs.
- Fit the 7/16" washer on the new stud, remove both metal sleeves from the stabilizer and press the supplied 1/2" sleeve into the piston side, then fit the stabilizer's body end on the stud with the sleeve nut through the eye, loosely.
- With the tires straight, collapse the stabilizer to its centered position (use a tape measure), mark the tie rod where the eyelet lines up, loosely fit the clamp on that mark with Blue Loctite on the M6 cap screws (snug the four bolts in a cross pattern), and bolt the other stabilizer end to the top of the clamp with the 1/2" bolt and two washers, Blue Loctite, 47 ft-lbs (3/4").
- Torque the sleeve nut to 47 ft-lbs (18mm); have a helper turn the steering slowly lock to lock to confirm clearance, then tighten the four clamp bolts in a cross pattern to 6 ft-lbs (5mm hex bit) and the two set screws to 15 ft-lbs.

TeraFlex's warranty list names no term for steering stabilizer relocation brackets, and this TeraFlex bracket kit is not a Falcon product, so the Falcon 1-year term does not apply. Contact us before ordering and we will confirm the coverage. TeraFlex covers paint and powder-coat finishes for 90 days against defects.- TeraFlex extends its limited warranty only to the consumer who first bought the product, and only on the vehicle the part was first installed on. It does not pass to a later owner.
- Coverage starts on the purchase date and does not restart if a part is repaired or replaced.
- For a covered defect, TeraFlex will either repair or replace the product (or the faulty part) free of charge or refund the purchase price, at its discretion, and it pays the freight to send a repaired or replacement part back to you.
