Description & Fitment
The TeraFlex Transit Mud Flap Kit protects a 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK or JK Unlimited, and the vehicles behind it, from gravel, mud, road spray and debris. The contoured flaps are injection-molded from UV-resistant, flexible HDPE built for extreme temperatures, with a smooth inner face that sheds mud and an outer texture that matches OEM flares and bumpers. A quick-release system lets you pull the flaps before the trail, and the frame-mounted cam lets you angle them for tire clearance. The kit does not work with stock bumpers.

Installation
- 16mm or 5/8" wrench or socket

Here's the short version. Follow TeraFlex's install sheet (below) for your Jeep's exact steps and torque values.
- Remove the four factory M10 bumper bolts (16mm or 5/8"), the smaller bumper bolts through the frame, two per side.
- Thread the mud flap assembly into the indexed mud flap mount, turning the knob clockwise 3 to 4 times so it stays put while you adjust.
- Position the mount facing forward and refit the factory M10 bumper bolts through it finger tight.
- Set the mount for tire clearance and the angle and height you want, torque the bumper bolts to 40 ft-lbs, then finish tightening the mud flap knob; repeat on the other side.
- Check the mud flap assemblies over the first 200-300 miles and re-check the bumper bolt torque after 400-500 miles.

TeraFlex's warranty list names no term for mud flaps, so contact us before ordering and we will confirm the coverage.- TeraFlex extends its limited warranty only to the consumer who first bought the product, and only on the vehicle the part was first installed on. It does not pass to a later owner.
- Coverage starts on the purchase date and does not restart if a part is repaired or replaced.
- For a covered defect, TeraFlex will either repair or replace the product (or the faulty part) free of charge or refund the purchase price, at its discretion, and it pays the freight to send a repaired or replacement part back to you.
- Not covered: damage from transportation, storage, improper use, skipped instructions or preventive maintenance, modifications, unauthorized repair, normal wear and tear, product finish, improper installation or maintenance, racing or competition, or accidents, abuse and neglect. Improper installation, poor maintenance, racing or competition use, and neglect or abuse void the warranty.
- Paint and powder coat finishes carry 90 days of defect coverage only, not wear from use.
- Claims: contact us first. Keep your proof of purchase or original invoice; removing the part from the vehicle and the inbound shipping are the owner's responsibility.
