- Smooth Leather-Grain Vinyl Top: The top is industrial-grade, tear-resistant vinyl with a leather-grain finish. TruXedo describes it as UV-resistant and says it gives any truck a clean, finished look.
- Automatic Tension Control: A patented, self-adjusting spring tensioner at the front header works with floating hook-and-loop on both rails to keep the vinyl tight as it expands in heat and shrinks in cold. If it ever needs fine-tuning, TruXedo has you turn the spring plunger in small steps during the warmest part of the day.
- Simple Clamp-On Install: On most trucks the rails clamp inside the bed with ordinary hand tools and no drilling or cutting. TruXedo rates it a Level 1 install and puts it at under 1 hour; a few trucks use brackets in factory rails instead, and your truck's page says which.
- Industrial-Grade Rail Clamps: Industrial-grade clamps hold the side rails just inside the bed walls rather than on top of the bed rails, which keeps the closed cover only 3/4" above the rails. TruXedo says no other soft roll-up on the market sits lower than the Lo Pro.
- Rolls Up for Bed Access: Roll the cover toward the cab and fasten both retainer straps to open nearly the whole bed and drive that way. When you need every inch, the quick-release system lets you lift the cover off with no tools on most versions.
- One-Finger Trigger Release: An anodized trigger latch on the driver-side rail frees the cover with one finger. To close it, roll it back, set the rear header in its stops and press down until it clicks, then press the hook-and-loop into both rails.

How do I measure my bed?
With the tailgate closed, measure along the top of the bed rail, from the front wall of the bed to the inside of the closed tailgate. TruXedo lists this part for 5'. A part for a different length will not seal at the ends.
How low does it actually sit?
Closed, the cover sits 3/4" above the bed rails, because the side rails mount inside the bed instead of on top. TruXedo says no other soft roll-up sits lower.
Will it keep rain and snow out of the bed?
It is built to: rubber seals close the bulkhead and tailgate ends and hook-and-loop seals both sides, so press the hook-and-loop home every time you close it. TruXedo says plainly that the cover is not airtight, so protect cargo that must stay dry. Some water can pool on top because the bows sit flat; it runs off once you drive. Brush snow and ice off with a broom, never a sharp tool, before you open it.
Can I drive with it rolled open?
Yes. Roll it all the way to the cab and fasten both retainer straps, and you can drive with the bed open. Never drive with it partly open; that is one of TruXedo's warranty conditions. On most versions you can also lift the whole cover off without tools using the quick-release system.
Do I have to drill anything?
Not on most trucks: the rails clamp or bolt to factory points. The exception is the GMC Sierra 1500 with the CarbonPro bed (574301), where TruXedo has you drill through the plastic bed caps, and one 1999-2005 GM Stepside part (551101) is flagged as requiring drilling, so we confirm that one with TruXedo before you install. Each version's page says which applies.

TruXedo gives the Lo Pro a limited lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.- Hard parts (rails, clamps, bows and the other included hardware) and the fabric each carry the limited lifetime warranty.
- A defective cover, tarp or hardware part is repaired or replaced, at TruXedo's option; TruXedo may substitute a newer model of similar form and function.
- Covers the first buyer only and does not transfer to a later owner. Keep your dated receipt as proof of purchase, and contact us for help registering your cover.
- To keep it valid: wash it only with mild car soap and water, with no silicone or petroleum conditioners; secure the cover at all points when driving, either fully closed and latched or fully rolled up with both retainer straps, never partly open; keep cargo from pressing on the tarp; re-check the rail clamps after the first week and now and then after that; don't roll it into the rear window or stow it against the cab, and re-roll it now and then if it stays open a long time; clear snow and ice before opening; take it off before the truck is towed from the rear.
- Claims need a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number from TruXedo before anything is sent back; contact us and we'll start the claim. You pay shipping for a repair or replacement; there is no other charge.
- Not covered: accident damage, neglect, unforeseeable use, improper installation or servicing, used, repaired or altered products, misuse, ordinary wear and tear, or a cover fitted with non-genuine TruXedo parts.
