The reason to want this is distance. A corded winch remote puts you on a lead a few feet long, which means standing near the winch, near the line, and usually with a poor view of what the vehicle is actually doing. The HUB receiver moves the controls to your phone over Bluetooth and lets you work from up to 100' away, so you can stand where you can see the load, the rope and the anchor at the same time. It wires in between the winch and the control pack rather than replacing anything, so your wired remote still works exactly as it did. This is the truck and SUV version, for contactor-controlled Warn winches.
What's Included:
Warn HUB wireless receiver module with plug-in harness
Status LED and pairing button on the module
Warn HUB app, free download for your smart device
Features
Control From Up to 100' Away Bluetooth pairing between the receiver and your smart device gives you winch control from up to 100' away. In practice that means you can stand somewhere with a clear view of the load and the anchor rather than beside the winch, which is both easier to judge and considerably safer than standing near a line under tension.
For Contactor-Controlled Warn Truck and SUV Winches This part number is the truck and SUV receiver. It suits contactor-controlled Warn truck winches, including the ZEON and ZEON XP, the VR and VR EVO, and Warn's Heavyweight and Classic series. Warn builds two other versions for powersports winches, so check you are buying the right one for your winch before you order.
Plugs In, Does Not Replace Your Wired Remote The receiver goes in line on the factory harness between the winch and the control pack. Your existing corded remote keeps working, so you gain the wireless option without giving up the hard-wired one, which matters on the day a phone battery is flat or a pairing will not take.
Your Phone Is the Remote The free Warn HUB app turns a phone you already carry into the winch control. There is no extra fob to lose in a footwell, no dedicated remote to keep charged, and nothing else to keep track of in a recovery kit that is already full.
Compact and Sealed for an Engine Bay The module is small and moulded, with a status LED and a pairing button on the face, sized to tuck in behind a bumper or alongside a control pack. At about 0.7 lb there is nothing to it and nothing that needs bracketry.

Fit guidance: This is an accessory, and the only thing that matters is matching it to your winch. Warn builds three HUB receivers with different harnesses: 103945 for contactor-controlled truck and SUV winches, 103940 for AXON powersports winches, and 103950 for VRX, ProVantage and Vantage powersports winches. They are not interchangeable, because the connectors differ. If your winch is a Warn truck winch with a contactor control pack, this is the correct part. If you are unsure whether your particular winch is contactor-controlled, send us the model and part number and we will confirm before you order.

Installation
Type: Plug-in to the existing winch control harness · Time: About 15 to 30 minutes · Tools: Usually none beyond cable ties. A basic hand tool set if you need to remove a cover to reach the control pack · Difficulty: Easy
Disconnect the battery before working around a winch control pack. The receiver installs in line on the factory harness between the winch and the control pack, so it is a matter of unplugging one connection, inserting the module and plugging it back together. Mount the module where it is protected from direct water spray and away from exhaust heat, and cable-tie the harness so nothing hangs into moving parts or rubs on an edge. Reconnect the battery, download the Warn HUB app, pair using the button on the module, and test the winch in and out under no load before you rely on it.

About Warn
Warn Industries has been building vehicle recovery gear in the Pacific Northwest since 1948, when Arthur Warn started out converting surplus military Jeeps for road use with a locking hub of his own design. The hubs turned into winches, and the winches turned Warn into the name that off-roaders, ranchers, utility fleets and search-and-rescue crews reach for when something has to come out of somewhere it should not be.
Warn's approach to a winch is to treat it as a safety device rather than an accessory, and the HUB receiver is that thinking applied to the control side. Where you stand during a recovery is a safety decision as much as a convenience one, and being able to move away from a loaded line while still holding the controls is worth more than the price of the part. Because Warn builds it for its own winches, it plugs into the factory harness rather than being spliced in.
Prestige Truck is an authorized Warn dealer. Every winch and accessory we sell is new, factory-boxed, covered by the full Warn factory warranty, and supported through Warn's own dealer network.

Frequently Asked Questions
Straight answers on specs, fit and support
Which HUB receiver do I need?
It depends entirely on your winch. This part, 103945, is for contactor-controlled Warn truck and SUV winches: ZEON, ZEON XP, VR, VR EVO, and the Heavyweight and Classic series. Part 103940 is for AXON powersports winches and part 103950 is for VRX, ProVantage and Vantage powersports winches. The connectors are different, so they are not interchangeable. Send us your winch model if you are not sure.
Do I lose the wired remote?
No. The receiver installs in line on the harness between the winch and the control pack, so the corded remote keeps working exactly as before. You are adding a wireless option rather than swapping one control for another, which is worth having on the day your phone is flat.
How far away can I actually stand?
Warn rates the Bluetooth link at up to 100'. The practical value of that is not distance for its own sake, it is being able to position yourself where you can see the load, the line and the anchor at once, rather than being tied to a short cord next to the winch.
Does it work with a non-Warn winch?
No. The HUB plugs into Warn's factory harness and is built around Warn's contactor control packs. It is not a universal wireless winch kit and should not be spliced into another manufacturer's winch.
Will it fit my M8274, M12, M15 or 16.5ti?
Yes. Those are contactor-controlled Warn truck winches, which is the family this receiver covers. It also works with the ZEON, ZEON XP, VR and VR EVO lines.
Is it safe to use a phone as a winch control?
It is arguably safer than the alternative, because the main risk during a recovery is standing in the wrong place. Being able to walk 50' away and still stop the winch means you are not beside a loaded line. Treat the usual rules as unchanged: never straddle the rope, keep bystanders clear, and test the pairing under no load before you need it.

Look is great. 100 lbs
Look is great. 100 lbs lighter than my 2nd pick. Lid lock and opening are smooth. Only minor knock I give is the the tie down hooks are hard to install - thinking I should have done them before installing.

A must have
I really like this mat. I was apprehensive at first but, the mat does a great job of keeping things from sliding around without having to secure it. perfect fit. But i think i will be adding some short screws to secure the mat to the DECKED system.

I never knew how much I needed this
As with all BAK covers, the quality is amazing. What I didnt fully appreciate until installing was the ease of opening - especially in a lifted truck. No more need to find the right handhold. Just roll it back with a single hand. Its also great to see out of my rear window when fully open - something you lose with the fold back covers. Customer service is awesome. I has an installation question and the representative stayed on the line as I adjusted an alignment to ensure I did it properly.

Better then expected.
Searched for about 6 months to find the tonneau cover. I really wanted the security of a hard top without sticking above the bed rails it checked those boxes. I also did not want to drill my truck bed. The install was super simple my wife and I had it on the truck in about a half an hour.

The toolbox is nice. I
The toolbox is nice. I think Ill get a lot of years of service out of it. I like how the lid opens and the tie downs are a nice touch. It seems to be well built. And tough. Im pleased with my purchase and would buy another one.
