Installation

Type: Below-bed-rail, set in place and secure  ·  Time: About 20 to 40 minutes  ·  Tools: Tape measure and a wrench or socket set; tie-down straps or the included hardware to secure it  ·  Difficulty: Easy, best done with two people for the lift

Set the chest in the bed against the front wall so the offset back sits flush and the cover clears the bed rail. Secure it with tie-down straps through the reinforced buckles or with bolt-down hardware per the Weather Guard instructions, then confirm the cover opens a full 90 degrees and the weather seal closes all the way around. Because the chest is wide, have a second person help lift it into place.
