It's alright, serves it's purpose..
It's "alright" had a wetherguard saddle box prior to this one for 9+ years. The aluminum doesn't seem as robust or as thick as my saddle box (127-5-02). After install I wish it was able to be opened from both sides of the box. If you have a trailer hooked up and you're on the passenger side of the truck it gets annoying to have to circle around the truck to open the box to only circle back around to get something out on that passenger side.. For the price, and past experience I expected better to be honest. Install was pretty straight fwd. The box empty with 4 bolts holding it in place with their blind fastners allows the box to wiggle ever so slightly causing a thumping noise going down the road. Again I think it stems from the thinner aluminum that it is made out of that allows that movement.. I bought it to replace my saddle box due to purchasing a 5th wheel camper. I have always…

I compared this box to several others and the WeatherGuard box had thicker metal that all of them. This was also the absolute largest box that would fit my 2020 Ford F-350 dually (1/2" gap left and right). A bonus was the finish matches the black spray-in bed liner color. The tray has nylon strips on the bottom to prevent scraping damage to the slide rails... nice touch. It was expensive, more than the others, but you get more with this box.

A very nice box, well made. 4 stars instead of 5 because they state, as many do, that it will sit flush with the front of your pick-up bed. Not so. Most pick-ups have a lip on the front of the bed. So it will NOT fit flush with the front wall and still open. Other than that, no complaints.

Nice box, but leaka
I bought this product (664-52-01) 3 months ago and was happy when it arrived. It fits perfectly and holds all of my tools, but seems to be leaking on the driver side. Not sure where exactly, but have already lost a tool bag to black mold due to the moisture when I realized It was leaking. Seems to be a cracked weld towards the bottom of the box letting the water in. Would love to continue to use weather guard, but the leaking has me questioning the craftsmanship.

Fits the 2023 f250
Was told the 664-52-01 wouldn't fit the new Superdutys. Did some simple measuring and decidedto gwt it anyways. Fits just fine with a little room to spare. So this box will fit the 2023 f250 short bed. Box looks and performs great so far. Not sure why, but it doesn't like to be slamed shut. You have to lower lid then a firm push. Other than that love it.

Perfect Fit
This chest fits the bed of my 2020 RAM 3500 perfectly. I do have an 8' bed so the wheel well is not an issue. It mounts directly to the floor of the bed, but does not stick out over the top. The side to side clearance is adequate in that I can open the box top and access the factory tie-down points on each side of the truck bed. It did have one small dent in the top of the box that was probably done by the vendor. Otherwise the fit and finish are pretty darn good. It comes with a sliding steel tray which I like for organizing small objects that I am fond of collecting. The one gripe I have is that I have to get inside the truck bed and press down on center of the front edge to get it to close. I can't close it standing on the ground on the side of the truck; it just wont latch. I don't see any adjustment on the latch mechanism. I asked my vendor about it and he explained that the firm…
