It sits on the bed floor against the front wall, so measure the floor width there against its 58" length.
Not for: mid-size pickups, which are not on this chest's fitment list (the compact 614 is). Other 635 finishes: 635-5-04. Other -04 chests: 614 (7.0 ft³) or 624 (8.5 ft³) or 634 (10.0 ft³).

Frequently Asked Questions
Will it fit a Ram 1500?
It is on our fitment list for that truck. Measure the bed floor width at the front wall against the chest's 58" length before ordering.
Will it fit a Colorado or Ranger?
Mid-size pickups are not on this chest's fitment list. The compact 614, at 41.25" long, is the -04 chest listed for them.
Do I have to drill my truck?
Yes. Weather Guard's sheet has you pick two bed ribs, ideally outside the frame rails, and drill 3/8" holes through the chest and the bed floor. You then bolt through, or open the bed holes to 1/2" for blind fasteners. Check under the bed for the fuel tank, lines and wiring first, and coat holes in an aluminum bed with zinc-rich primer.
How does the 1Key UltraLock key work?
Turn the key to the lock mark and the red button stays pushed in, so you can see at a glance that the chest is locked. Weather Guard says the key works across its 1Key UltraLock products, so one key can run a single chest or a whole fleet once the boxes are coded to it.
Can it sit right against the front of the bed?
Yes. Weather Guard designed the cover to open to 90 degrees with zero clearance behind the chest, so the back of the chest can sit tight to the front wall of the bed.
Does it come with a tray?
The 624, 634 and 635 chests ship with a tray. Weather Guard's parts list leaves it out of the compact 614. Each chest comes with two keys and the bolt kit.

Here's the short version. Follow Weather Guard's install sheet (below) for the exact positions and hardware.
- Center the chest in the bed and check the lid opens without hitting anything.
- Pick two bed ribs to mount on, ideally outside the frame rails. Transfer the rib position inside the box and mark lines 3"-4" from the front and back.
- Drill 3/8" holes through box and bed at the marks and push the four rubber grommets into the box holes.
- Bolt down with one of the four styles on p5 (through-bolts or blind fasteners, with or without a bedliner). For blind fasteners, open the bed holes to 1/2".
- With a bedliner, add a 5/16" x 3/4" plastic washer between grommet and floor rib. Aluminum bed: zinc rich primer on drilled holes.

Weather Guard backs this box with its Limited Lifetime Warranty, issued by Werner Co.: the box is warranted against defects in material and workmanship for its expected lifetime, counted from the day you buy it.- Only the original purchaser is covered, and coverage ends if the box passes to a new owner.
- Every claim needs a copy of the original sales receipt, so keep your Prestige Truck order receipt with your records.
- Werner Co. picks the remedy: it repairs the faulty part or replaces the whole box at no charge for parts or labor, or it may refund what you paid or issue a credit toward a new Weather Guard product.
- Not covered: normal wear and tear, cosmetic rust, scratches, accident damage, repairs Werner Co. did not authorize, misuse, overloading, or a box that was not mounted or used as Weather Guard's written instructions describe. Damage to what is stored in the box or to the vehicle is excluded too.
- Where the law allows, Werner Co. accepts no liability for incidental, special, indirect or consequential damages, economic loss included. This is the only express warranty on Weather Guard products, and no dealer can change it.
- Report a problem promptly once you find it. To start a claim, contact us with your order number and photos of the issue, and we will take it up with Weather Guard for you.

Inspect on delivery
Check that the two keys and the bolt kit with its grommets are in the carton (plus the tray on all but the 614), then press the red button and look over the cover seal before mounting. Check it as soon as it arrives.- Look for crushed ends, punctures or tears in the carton.
- If something looks wrong, take photos of the box and the parts (and if a driver asks you to sign, note the damage on the receipt).
- Open the box and check the parts against the parts list before you install.
- Email support@prestigetruck.com right away with your order number, a short note and photos. We send a replacement or a full refund at no cost to you.
