Description & Fitment
Part DRRPAF sets up the driver-side front of a Ram ProMaster (any wheelbase) for a Weather Guard folding shelf. Two channels 38.04" long make up the 3.284 lb kit. M8 bolts hold the ProMaster channels, torqued to 20 ft-lbs on Weather Guard's sheet. Weather Guard notes it does not fit the 118" wheelbase low-roof ProMaster.
Fitment & Compatibility
Check your fit: a Ram ProMaster of any wheelbase except the 118" wheelbase low-roof model, at the driver-side front location.
Not for: other ProMaster locations or wheelbases (DRRP36RP (136" rear), DRRP59RP (159" rear), DRRP59XRP (159" extended rear)), or other vans. The folding shelf (9536-3-01, 9548-3-01 or 9560-3-01) is sold separately.

Which van and spot is this for?
The Ram ProMaster any wheelbase, at the driver-side front, per Weather Guard's listing and rail chart.
How is it fastened?
With M8 bolts threaded into the weld nuts or blind fasteners, tightened to 20 ft-lbs per Weather Guard's sheet.
How many kits do I need?
One per shelf location. The front driver-side kit fits every wheelbase of its van; the rear kits are sold by wheelbase and go at the driver-side rear or the passenger side, so a shelf on each side takes two.
Will I drill?
Not into the floor. Where the van has no factory weld nut, Weather Guard's sheet drills a 1/4" pilot, opens it to 1/2" and sets a blind fastener. Check behind each mark for wiring, gas lines and air-bag parts, and on an electric van for high-voltage parts.
What about wall liners?
Take off any upper and middle wall panels or factory liner trim first and refit them after. The Sprinter kits include liner holders for vans with wall liners.
Is a shelf included?
No. The kit holds one Weather Guard folding shelf, sold separately in 36", 48" or 60" lengths.
Installation
Here's the short version. Follow Weather Guard's install sheet (below) for the exact positions and hardware.
- Pick the rail kits for your van: the front driver-side channel (DRFTAF / DRMSAF / DRRPAF) fits every wheelbase of that van; the rear and passenger-rear channels go by wheelbase (parts lists p4, p6, p11). DRRPAF does not fit the 118" wheelbase low-roof ProMaster.
- Remove any upper and middle wall panels or OEM liner trim, then hold the top rail level along the top support structure and mark each mounting spot that has no factory weld nut.
- Check behind each mark for wiring, gas lines and air-bag parts, drill a 1/4" pilot, open it to 1/2" and set a blind fastener (page 3). Light pressure avoids dimpling the panel.
- Transit and ProMaster: bolt the channels to the weld nuts and blind fasteners with M8 bolts and washers, level them and torque to 20 ft-lbs.
- Sprinter: slide the channel plates into the wall obrounds, fit the liner holders where the van has wall liners, level the rails and tighten all bolts to 15 ft-lbs (a few passes with liners).
- Repeat for the middle rail on the lower support structure, then refit any wall liners.

- Every claim needs a copy of the original sales receipt, so keep your Prestige Truck order receipt with your records.
- Werner Co. picks the remedy: it repairs the faulty part or replaces the whole rail kit at no charge for parts or labor, or it may refund what you paid or issue a credit toward a new Weather Guard product.
- Not covered: normal wear and tear, cosmetic rust, scratches, accident damage, repairs Werner Co. did not authorize, misuse, overloading, or a rail kit that was not mounted or used as Weather Guard's written instructions describe. Damage to what you carry on the shelf or to the vehicle is excluded too.
- Where the law allows, Werner Co. accepts no liability for incidental, special, indirect or consequential damages, economic loss included. This is the only express warranty on Weather Guard products, and no dealer can change it.
- Report a problem promptly once you find it. To start a claim, contact us with your order number and photos of the issue, and we will take it up with Weather Guard for you.

Inspect on delivery
Check both aluminum channels for bends and count the bolts, washers, blind fasteners and red end caps in the bolt kit. Check it as soon as it arrives.- Look for crushed ends, punctures or tears in the carton.
- If something looks wrong, take photos of the box and the parts (and if a driver asks you to sign, note the damage on the receipt).
- Open the box and check the parts against the parts list before you install.
