Check your fit: this 48" x 39.75" unit is on our fitment list for full-size pickups: Chevrolet Silverado 1500, 2500 HD and 3500 HD; GMC Sierra 1500, 2500 HD and 3500 HD; Ford F-150 (Lightning included) and F-250, F-350 and F-450 Super Duty; Ram 1500, 1500 Classic, 2500 and 3500; Toyota Tundra; Nissan Titan and Titan XD. It needs 48" of flat floor running toward the tailgate and 39.75" of width, so measure between the wheel wells, and the drawer pulls out 45" beyond that line when open.
Not for: mid-size pickups, which are not on this unit's fitment list. Same unit in black: 338-5-04. Other 39.75" wide Pack Rat units: 308-3-04 (white), 308-5-04 (black).

Will it fit an F-150?
That truck is on our fitment list for this unit. Measure your bed floor against the 48" length and 39.75" width before ordering, and leave room for the drawer to roll out.
How much can the top carry?
Weather Guard rates the top of the 338-3-04 at 2,000 lb and the drawer at 425 lb, so you can keep hauling cargo on the deck while the tools ride below.
Do I have to drill my truck?
Yes. Weather Guard's sheet bolts the housing down through holes you drill, using blind fasteners that you seat with the supplied tool and two wrenches. Check there is enough hole depth first, and in an aluminum bed coat the holes with zinc-rich primer and fit a plastic washer on each side of the fastener.
How does the 1Key UltraLock work?
The lock comes fitted at the factory and works on the same key as Weather Guard's other 1Key UltraLock products. Weather Guard's point is that if one key goes missing, the rest of the crew can still open the gear.
What should I not keep in it?
Weather Guard's sheet warns against storing flammables, explosives or hazardous materials, naming gasoline containers, solvents, propane and acetylene tanks and cutting torches. Keep it to tools and equipment.
Can I move the partitions?
Yes, on units with removable partitions. Take out the partition's two 1/4-20 bolts with two 7/16" wrenches, swing it clear of the rear slots and lift it out; refit it the same way in reverse.

Here's the short version. Follow Weather Guard's install sheet (below) for the exact positions and hardware.
- The drawer unit is heavy: team lift it, or use a forklift or overhead hoist, and set the housing in the bed as shown on p3.
- Drill the mounting holes and set the blind fasteners: oil the black oxide bolt, hold the installation tool with a 9/16" wrench and turn the bolt with a 1/2" wrench until the fastener is fully seated.
- Check there is enough hole depth before setting each blind fastener.
- Aluminum bed: prime the holes with zinc rich primer and put a 1/2" x 1" plastic washer on each side of the blind fastener.
- To move the adjustable partition, remove its two 1/4-20 bolts (two 7/16" wrenches), swing it free of the rear slots and lift it out. Refit in reverse.

Weather Guard backs this drawer unit with its Limited Lifetime Warranty, issued by Werner Co.: the drawer unit is warranted against defects in material and workmanship for its expected lifetime, counted from the day you buy it.- Only the original purchaser is covered, and coverage ends if the drawer unit passes to a new owner.
- Every claim needs a copy of the original sales receipt, so keep your Prestige Truck order receipt with your records.
- Werner Co. picks the remedy: it repairs the faulty part or replaces the whole drawer unit at no charge for parts or labor, or it may refund what you paid or issue a credit toward a new Weather Guard product.
- Not covered: normal wear and tear, cosmetic rust, scratches, accident damage, repairs Werner Co. did not authorize, misuse, overloading, or a drawer unit that was not mounted or used as Weather Guard's written instructions describe. Damage to what is stored in the drawer unit or to the vehicle is excluded too.
- Where the law allows, Werner Co. accepts no liability for incidental, special, indirect or consequential damages, economic loss included. This is the only express warranty on Weather Guard products, and no dealer can change it.

Inspect on delivery
Roll the drawer out to its stop, check the partitions and dividers in the carton, and make sure the key turns the 1Key lock before you bolt the unit down. Check it as soon as it arrives.- Look for crushed ends, punctures or tears in the carton.
- If something looks wrong, take photos of the box and the parts (and if a driver asks you to sign, note the damage on the receipt).

Work horse
It seems well built but it should be for the price. Comes with plenty of mounting solutions (blind nuts for aluminum and steel beds). It has a good gasket for rain proofing and weather sill. The only reason I gave 4 stars is when pulling the drawer out it’s kinda ruff not as smooth as I was expecting. Other than that it’s a work horse of a tool box!

A rat pack was installed on a new buildout. The latch system needs refining. The pack cannot be shut without manually holding in the button. A simple angle to the latch would solve the problem. The button moved removing any way to open the latch, with this malfunction, the resolution is to drill a hole in the top of the box and push down on the latch to get it to unlock. This seems to be an ongoing problem from previous comments for 2 years . The Rat Pack is functional the lock needs to be redesigned.
