Security is the part most people underestimate. The X2 uses the same patented rotational locking rails as the rest of the Revolver family, engaging down the full length of the bed on both sides with automatic slam latches. That is a Level-3 rating, which is BAK's highest, and it means the cover resists prying and slicing rather than simply being inconvenient to remove. Close the tailgate and the bed is genuinely locked.

The vinyl is one piece of aluminum-reinforced DualShield 60-grade, so there are no seams to leak through. Flush-fitting side seals and a bulkhead seal close the perimeter, and water routes off the cover and drains through the bed.
