Features
- Folds up to the cab: Unlatch it and fold the cover forward to the two-thirds-open position, or fold it again against the rear window for full bed access. Nylon buckle straps hold it folded, and the built-in prop rods hold it up against the cab so you can drive that way.
- Built-in water drainage: An internal water channel catches water that gets past the seals and guides it down the rails and out through drain hoses at the front of the bed.
- No-drill clamp install: It clamps on with the included clamps and hardware, with no drilling or modifying the bed on most trucks.
- EPDM weather seals: EPDM rubber hinges and outer rail seals keep water out. The tailgate seal is a conventional one, so BAK says to close the tailgate before the cover for the best water resistance.
- Textured FRP top panels: Textured gloss-black fiberglass-reinforced polymer (FRP) top panels sit on an aluminum substructure and resist UV fading. BAK says FRP stands up to impacts, abrasion and temperature extremes better than soft covers or aluminum tops; BAK rates the cover at 300 lb, evenly distributed.
- Panels latch automatically: Each panel latches to the mounting rails on its own as the cover closes. To open it, unlock and lower the tailgate, reach under the cover and pull the release cable.

The BAKFlip FiberMax Hard Folding Tonneau Cover fits the 2019-2027 Ram 1500 with the 6'4" bed and multifunction tailgate, without RamBox. It is for owners who want a hard folding cover rated at 300 lb, evenly distributed. Textured gloss-black FRP top panels sit on an aluminum substructure, with EPDM weather seals and built-in water drainage. Fold it once for two-thirds of the bed or again for all of it, and the panels latch automatically.

Check your bed: measure along the top of the bed rail from the bulkhead to the inside of the closed tailgate. This cover is for the 6'4" bed. It is for beds without RamBox. It is for trucks with the multifunction tailgate.
Not for: the standard tailgate (1126223) or the 5'7" bed (1126227). Each of those has its own BAKFlip FiberMax part number.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will this fit my 2019-2027 Ram 1500?
Yes, if it has the 6'4" bed, without RamBox, with the multifunction tailgate. For the standard tailgate, choose 1126223 instead. Measure along the bed rail from the bulkhead to the closed tailgate, or send us your VIN and we will confirm.
What if my Ram has the standard tailgate?
Then you need 1126223. This one is listed for the multifunction tailgate only.
How is the FiberMax different from the BAKFlip F1?
Both have textured gloss-black fiberglass-reinforced polymer (FRP) tops. The F1's panels have a high-density foam core, are rated at 400 lb and carry a 5-year warranty. The FiberMax uses FRP top panels on an aluminum substructure, is rated at 300 lb and carries a 3-year warranty.
Will it keep rain and snow out of the bed?
It is built to. EPDM rubber hinges and outer rail seals keep most water out, and an internal channel sends what gets past them out through drain hoses. The tailgate seal is a conventional one, so close the tailgate before the cover. BAK's install sheet notes the cover is not airtight, and clearing snow and ice before opening is a warranty condition.
Can I carry cargo on top of the cover?
BAK rates the closed FiberMax at 300 lb, evenly distributed. Its install sheet also says not to tie cargo to the cover or drive with objects on top of it, so treat the rating as a measure of strength, not as a roof rack.
Can I drive with it open?
Yes. Folded once, the nylon buckle straps hold it; folded against the rear window, engage the prop rods. BAK's warranty requires the cover to be secured at all points whenever the truck is moving.

BAK covers the BAKFlip FiberMax against defects in materials and workmanship for 3 years from the original purchase date.- BAK's limited warranty runs three (3) years for its G2 and FiberMax covers, from the original purchase date.
- A defective cover or hardware part is repaired or replaced at BAK's option. BAK may instead substitute a newer model of similar form and function, offer a warranty discount on a complete replacement system, or provide another remedy.
- It covers the original buyer only and is not transferable. BAK states: "Warranty registration must be on file and/or proof of original purchase (detailed and dated receipt) required for warranty to be effective." Contact us for registration help.
- To keep it valid: clean only with mild automotive soap and water; keep the cover secured at all points while the truck is moving; check all clamps and retention parts for tightness after the first week of driving (and after any re-install) and now and then after that; clear snow, ice and anything else off before opening; and never tow the truck from the rear with the cover on (take it off and store it first). BAK's install sheet adds that insect repellents, oils, solvents and lubricants can damage the rubber hinges and seals and void the warranty.
- Claims: get a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number from BAK customer service before sending anything back. BAK may ask for the part, postage prepaid, to make a final decision; shipping charges apply to a repair or replacement, with no other charge.
- Not covered: damage from an accident, neglect, unforeseeable use, improper installation or servicing, or any other cause that isn't a defect in materials or workmanship.
