Features
- Signature S-Type tone: S-Type is what Borla calls its classic voice: aggressive when you accelerate, refined at a cruise, and between Touring and ATAK in volume.
- Behind the converters: The system replaces exhaust downstream of the catalytic converters; the factory converters stay on the vehicle.
- 2.5" tubing: This S-Type system is listed with 2.5" tubing for the 3.8L V6 Telluride.
- T-304 stainless steel: Mandrel-formed T-304 austenitic stainless tubing keeps flow smooth through every bend, and Borla rates the alloy above 409 or aluminized steel against rust and heat.
- Made for the Telluride: Borla lists this part number for the 2020 Kia Telluride in S, EX and SX trims with the 3.8L V6.
- Borla Million-Mile Warranty: Borla covers material and workmanship defects for one million miles for the original buyer on the original vehicle, with one year on finishes and moving parts.

About Borla
Borla got its start in 1978 making stainless exhaust systems for concours Rolls-Royce and Ferrari restorations, and says the term Cat-Back began with it that same year. The company still builds in stainless steel, now at a 100-acre plant in Tennessee, and Borla says automakers including GM, Ford and Toyota use it for some of their factory-installed accessory exhaust.
Borla engineers each vehicle system from a clean sheet, shaping the muffler bodies, cores and pipe routing around that one platform, and offers many of its systems in three sound levels: Touring, S-Type and ATAK. For custom work it makes ProXS universal mufflers, CrateMufflers tuned to crate engines, exhaust tips, tubing, clamps and hangers.
Authorized Borla dealer. Prestige Truck is an authorized Borla dealer, so every Borla part we sell is new and genuine. Borla's Million-Mile Warranty is for the original purchaser, on the vehicle the part was first installed on. Keep your Prestige Truck order receipt: Borla asks for proof of the purchase date with any claim, and we use it when we take a claim to Borla for you.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will this fit my Telluride?
It is listed for the 2020 Kia Telluride S, EX and SX with the 3.8L V6. For any other year or trim, send us your VIN and we will check before you order.
Why is the photo a different system?
We do not have a photo of 11965 itself yet, so the image is a representative Borla S-Type system. The parts in the box are made for the 2020 Telluride; contact us if you want to see the part before ordering.
How does S-Type compare with Touring and ATAK?
Borla ranks its three sound levels with Touring the mildest, ATAK the loudest and S-Type between them. S-Type turns aggressive under throttle and calms to a smoother note at a steady cruise.
Is this a cat-back or an axle-back?
Borla lists it as an S-Type exhaust system for the 2020 Kia Telluride 3.8L. Contact us with your VIN before ordering and we will confirm the parts in the box with Borla.
Do I need a shop to install it?
Borla recommends an exhaust shop or professional installer for its systems and warns against air impact tools.
Can I send it back if I don't like the sound?
Borla does not warrant sound level, because how an exhaust sounds is a personal call, and it asks owners not to return a part for that reason. Settle on the sound level before you order. Borla notes that venturis, available from a retailer, can quiet a system later. For any other return question, contact us before you ship anything back.

Warranty
Borla's Million-Mile Warranty covers this part for one million miles against flaws in its materials or workmanship.- Coverage belongs to the original purchaser of record, on the vehicle the part was first installed on.
- Black coatings, tip finishes, carbon fiber and moving parts such as valves and actuators carry a one-year term. Blemishes or marring caused by weather, road hazards, lack of maintenance or extreme heat or cold are not covered.
- Borla inspects the returned part, and when it finds a manufacturing or material defect it repairs or replaces the part, at Borla's option.
- Sound level is not warranted, since sound is a matter of taste. Borla notes that venturis can be fitted to quiet a system.
- Universal mufflers must be joined at their inlet and outlet necks. Welding to the case shell or end caps voids the warranty.
- Not covered: the cost of removal or reinstallation; damage from accident, abuse, misuse or misapplication; parts that are modified or used for something other than their intended purpose; racing products, and street parts used for racing.
- To claim, contact us first with your order number and a short description of the problem. Borla asks for proof of the retail purchase date, and your Prestige Truck receipt is that proof. A part sent back to Borla travels with freight prepaid by the sender, packed well, since Borla cannot accept parts damaged in transit.
- Some states do not allow these limits, so your rights may vary by state.
