- Opens With One Hand: Drop the tailgate, turn the rotary release knob and lift: Extang's Secure Rotary Release Latching System lets you open the rear panel one-handed, with nothing to unclamp at the tailgate.
- Tool-Free Jaw-Grip Clamps: Extang's Jaw-Grip clamps hold the cab end of the cover to the bed rails with hand-turned knobs. Back them off and the whole cover lifts away when a load needs every inch of the bed.
- Folds Back for Two-Thirds of the Bed: The panels fold toward the cab on dual-pivot hinges and open roughly two thirds of the bed. Fasten both buckle straps, with the tethers attached, before you drive with it folded.
- Twist-and-Lift Latch That Locks Itself: Fold the cover shut against the bed rails and the rotary latches catch their bolt-on strikers on their own. Extang describes this twist-and-lift latch as unique among tri-fold covers, which usually close with tailgate clamps.
- 1" EnduraShield Panels: Each panel is 1" of EnduraShield TPO on an aluminum frame with a textured black EnduraCoat finish, built to shrug off dents, scratches and sun fading. Extang rates the closed cover at 600 lb, spread evenly.
- Sealed Corners, Caps and Edges: Rubber corner blocks, caps over the hinges and triple-fin seals that snap on around the edge close the gaps where rain usually gets in. Like any folding cover it is weather-resistant, not watertight.

The Extang Solid Fold ALX is a hard tri-fold tonneau cover for the 6'7" bed of the 2016-2024 Nissan Titan and Titan XD without Utili-Track. It is for owners who want hard 1" EnduraShield panels and a cover that opens with one hand, using a twist-and-lift latch that locks itself. The three panels fold toward the cab to open about two thirds of the bed, and Extang rates it for 600 lb of evenly spread weight. Tool-free Jaw-Grip clamps hold it on, and it is assembled in Michigan with a five-year limited warranty.

Will this fit my 2017-2024 Nissan Titan?
Yes, if it has the 6'7" bed, without Utili-Track. Measure inside the bed floor from the bulkhead to the inside of the closed tailgate and compare it with the 6'7" label. Does it matter if my Titan has Utili-Track?
Yes. This version is for beds without Utili-Track.
What is the difference between the Solid Fold ALX and the Solid Fold 2.0?
They share the 1" EnduraShield panels, the aluminum frame, the hinges and the 600 lb rating, so they look alike on the truck. The ALX adds Extang's Secure Rotary Release: you open it with one hand by turning a knob at the tailgate, and it latches itself when you fold it shut.
Will it keep rain and snow out of the bed?
It is built to. Snap-on triple-fin seals run around the edges, hinge caps cover the panel joints and rubber corners fill the gaps. Like every folding cover it is weather-resistant rather than watertight. Brush snow and ice off before you fold it open; Extang's warranty requires that.
How much weight can it hold?
600 lb, spread evenly across the closed cover. That is Extang's rating. Keep cargo inside the bed from pushing up against the panels.
Can I drive with it folded open, or take it off?
Yes to both. Fold it toward the cab and fasten both buckle straps with the tethers attached, and you can drive with about two thirds of the bed open. For the whole bed, loosen the Jaw-Grip clamps by hand and lift the cover off. Never drive with it partly open.

Extang covers the Solid Fold ALX against defects in materials and workmanship for five years from the original purchase date.- What's covered: the tonneau rails, aluminum components, clamps, bows and hardware.
- A defective cover or part is repaired or replaced, at Extang's choice; Extang may substitute a newer model of similar form and function, or offer a warranty discount on a full replacement.
- For the original purchaser only, not transferable. Register the cover with Extang, or keep a detailed, dated receipt; contact us for registration help.
- To keep it valid: wash with mild automotive soap and water or Extang Tonno Tonic (no silicone vinyl conditioners); drive only with the cover fully closed and held at all four clamps, or fully folded and secured at the cab with both buckle straps and the tethers; never drive with it partly open; keep cargo from pressing on the panels; clear snow, ice and debris before opening; check the clamps after the first week and from time to time after that; take the cover off before the truck is towed from the rear.
- Claims: get a return authorization number from Extang first and write it on the outside of the package. Shipping to Extang is at your cost, Extang may ask for the part back postage prepaid, and shipping charges apply to any repair or replacement.
