Extang Solid Fold ALX Hard Folding Tonneau Cover for 2022-2026 Nissan Frontier (6'1" Bed)

Here's the short version. Follow Extang's install sheet (below) for your truck's exact hardware, clamp positions and torque settings.

1. Place the cover. Set the cover, still folded, at the cab end of the bed, square, with the bulkhead seal on the bulkhead. Unfold it so the tailgate seal meets the tailgate with its first two fins, then refold without moving it.
2. Fit the cab clamp brackets. Slide the cab backing plate into the rear end of the rail and move it near the cab. Line the cab clamp bracket up with the cab clamp and sandwich the metal bed flange between bracket and backing plate with the washers and socket-head screws, 3.5 ft-lb (4.75 Nm). Then hook the cab clamp beneath the bracket and tighten the knob until it touches, then two more turns, both sides.
3. Fit the strikers. With the tailgate open and the cab clamps tight, close the cover. Loosen each tail striker bracket's Torx screws so its backing plate slides onto the bed flange, line it up with the cover latch and push the cover down while you hand-tighten.
4. Adjust the latches and knob. Set each latch to catch its striker and lock it with the T-20 wrench, route the cable through the actuator leaving 3/4"-1" at the driver-side barrel clamp, tighten the set screws with the 2.5mm hex key and turn the knob to check both latches release.
5. Make the final adjustment. Loosen the striker Torx screws, pull the cover firmly down to the rail and tailgate, match both sides and retighten.
