Tool-free Jaw-Grip clamps hold it to the front bed rails with no drilling, and the whole cover lifts off in seconds for a full-length load. Fold the panels toward the cab and two thirds of the bed opens, with buckle straps holding them there while you drive. Opening it takes one hand at the tailgate. The Secure Rotary Release then catches by itself on close, and that latch is the one change from the Trifecta 2.0 underneath. Features

Sealed at Rails, Bulkhead and Tailgate
Extang rates the Ancona vinyl weather-resistant. Where covers usually leak is the edges, so snap-on triple-fin seals run down both bed rails, across the bulkhead and behind the tailgate. They clip on dry, so no adhesive touches your bed.

Fold Forward for Two Thirds Access
The panels fold toward the cab and stack there, opening two thirds of the bed for gear you load over the tailgate. Buckle straps built into the cover hold the stack down so you can leave it folded and drive.

No Drilling, Nothing Cut
Nothing on your truck is cut, drilled or modified, so the bed goes back to stock whenever the cover comes off. Extang rates the work Level 1 and puts it under an hour with ordinary hand tools, which puts it in reach at home.

The front Jaw-Grip clamps tighten by hand onto the inner bed rails and the rotary latch strikers bolt to the bed at the tailgate. Extang covers the Trifecta ALX with a limited lifetime warranty against defects in materials or workmanship on the rails, aluminum parts, clamps, bows, hardware and vinyl, for the original purchaser with proof of purchase or a registration on file. It does not cover accident damage, misuse, neglect, improper installation or removal, modifications or normal wear. Extang also voids coverage for wind whip from a tarp left unsecured, silicone-based vinyl conditioners, cargo pressing up into the tarp, driving with the panels open but not buckled, opening the cover with snow or ice on it and towing the truck from the rear. Approved claims are repaired or replaced at Extang's option after you obtain a return authorization number, with shipping to Extang at your expense.
