Features
- Length Set on the Vehicle: Link length can be tuned on the vehicle, through ICON's double adjuster or threaded rod ends, without removing the link.
- Billet or DOM Tube Build: ICON builds these links from CNC-machined 6061 aluminum billet or from DOM steel tube; the title and specs name the build of this kit.
- FK Rod Ends and Bearings: PTFE-lined FK rod ends and spherical bearings take the place of soft factory bushings, cutting deflection and the bind that limits stock suspension travel.
- Anodized or Powder-Coated Finish: Billet parts are anodized against corrosion and tubular parts carry a multi-stage powder coat, so the links hold up to road salt and trail grime.
- Geometry Matched to Lift: Links are sized for lifted vehicles, helping restore suspension geometry once the ride height changes.
- Quiet Greaseless Bushings: Where a bushing is used, ICON fits multi durometer or dual-durometer high-angle bushings that run quietly and need no periodic greasing.
Description & Fitment
If you drive the 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler, this ICON rear adjustable lower link kit is listed for it. Built in-house from CNC-machined 1026 DOM steel, they are stronger than the stock links they replace. FK rod ends with a PTFE liner reduce deflection, free up articulation and make the length adjustable.

About ICON Vehicle Dynamics
ICON Vehicle Dynamics designs and builds performance suspension for trucks and SUVs at its shop in Riverside, California. Engineering is led by Dylan Evans, its head engineer and a SCORE champion driver, and ICON tests its parts on the street, on the trail and under race conditions.
ICON's engineers begin with the result they want from a vehicle, then study the forces acting on it in motion, which is where the name Vehicle Dynamics comes from. Fabrication stays in ICON's own shop, from laser cutting and metal forming to CNC machining, welding and final assembly. ICON calls its suspension systems and shock absorbers the top choice for popular trucks and SUVs.
Authorized ICON Vehicle Dynamics dealer. Prestige Truck is an authorized ICON Vehicle Dynamics dealer, so every ICON part we sell is new and genuine. ICON's warranty is for the original retail buyer, on the vehicle the part was first installed on. Keep your Prestige Truck order receipt: we use it when we take a claim to ICON for you.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will this fit my 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler?
It fits when your vehicle matches one of these rows: 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler. If you are unsure about your trim or drivetrain, send us your VIN and we will check it against ICON's application list before you order.
Is there an install guide?
Yes. ICON's install sheet for 21041 is linked in the Installation section below, with its steps condensed on this page. Use the sheet for the torque values.
Billet or tubular: which should I pick?
Both replace the factory links. Billet links are machined aluminum with an anodized finish; tubular links are DOM steel with a powder coat and a high-clearance shape. ICON offers both on several platforms, so choose the build you prefer.
Do adjustable links need setting up?
Yes. Adjustable links are set to length during the install, using ICON's measurements for your vehicle. A shop can do this when it aligns the vehicle.
Do the rod ends need greasing?
ICON uses PTFE-lined FK rod ends and greaseless multi durometer bushings on most kits. The Ram 2500/3500 tubular links are the exception: ICON says their dual stage bushings can be greased.
What warranty applies?
ICON's published limited warranty applies to its link kits, for the original buyer and the vehicle they were first installed on. Contact us first for a claim and we will open it with ICON.
Installation
- Large Crescent Wrench
- Torque Wrench
- 21mm Socket / Wrench
Here's the short version. Follow ICON's install sheet (below) for your vehicle's exact steps and torque values.
- Assemble the rear lower links. Use anti seize on the rod end threads. Thread the jam nut onto the rod end, and then thread the rod end onto the link.
- Remove the driver side rear lower link using a 21mm. This can be done with the vehicle on the ground or in the air.
- Adjust the length of the link to be 1/8" longer than the stock link. (Approx: 19 15/16")
- Using the supplied heim spacers, mount the rod end into the frame pocket using the factory bolt [Torque to factory spec].
- Mount the bushing side of the link to the axle using (2) 21mm [Torque to factory spec].
- Check for proper pinion angle and adjust as needed.
