Features

  • Length Set on the Vehicle: Link length can be tuned on the vehicle, through ICON's double adjuster or threaded rod ends, without removing the link.
  • Billet or DOM Tube Build: ICON builds these links from CNC-machined 6061 aluminum billet or from DOM steel tube; the title and specs name the build of this kit.
  • FK Rod Ends and Bearings: PTFE-lined FK rod ends and spherical bearings take the place of soft factory bushings, cutting deflection and the bind that limits stock suspension travel.
  • Anodized or Powder-Coated Finish: Billet parts are anodized against corrosion and tubular parts carry a multi-stage powder coat, so the links hold up to road salt and trail grime.
  • Geometry Matched to Lift: Links are sized for lifted vehicles, helping restore suspension geometry once the ride height changes.
  • Quiet Greaseless Bushings: Where a bushing is used, ICON fits multi durometer or dual-durometer high-angle bushings that run quietly and need no periodic greasing.

Description & Fitment

This ICON rear adjustable lower link kit fits the Jeep Gladiator and Ram 1500. Length adjusts on the vehicle through ICON's double adjuster and PTFE-lined FK rod ends, with greaseless bushings at the other end that free rear axle travel and keep road noise down. The billet version is CNC-machined 6061 aluminum with an anodized finish. The tubular version uses .313 wall DOM tube with CNC-machined ends and black powder coat, shaped to clear rocks and ledges.

About ICON Vehicle Dynamics

ICON.

ICON Vehicle Dynamics designs and builds performance suspension for trucks and SUVs at its shop in Riverside, California. Engineering is led by Dylan Evans, its head engineer and a SCORE champion driver, and ICON tests its parts on the street, on the trail and under race conditions.

ICON's engineers begin with the result they want from a vehicle, then study the forces acting on it in motion, which is where the name Vehicle Dynamics comes from. Fabrication stays in ICON's own shop, from laser cutting and metal forming to CNC machining, welding and final assembly. ICON calls its suspension systems and shock absorbers the top choice for popular trucks and SUVs.

Authorized ICON Vehicle Dynamics dealer. Prestige Truck is an authorized ICON Vehicle Dynamics dealer, so every ICON part we sell is new and genuine. ICON's warranty is for the original retail buyer, on the vehicle the part was first installed on. Keep your Prestige Truck order receipt: we use it when we take a claim to ICON for you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this fit my 2020-2023 Jeep Gladiator?

It fits when your vehicle matches one of these rows: 2020-2023 Jeep Gladiator; 2019-2023 Ram 1500. If you are unsure about your trim or drivetrain, send us your VIN and we will check it against ICON's application list before you order.

Does ICON publish install steps for it?

Yes. ICON's install sheet for 22063 is linked in the Installation section below, with its steps condensed on this page. Use the sheet for the torque values.

Billet or tubular: which should I pick?

Both replace the factory links. Billet links are machined aluminum with an anodized finish; tubular links are DOM steel with a powder coat and a high-clearance shape. ICON offers both on several platforms, so choose the build you prefer.

Do adjustable links need setting up?

Yes. Adjustable links are set to length during the install, using ICON's measurements for your vehicle. A shop can do this when it aligns the vehicle.

Do the rod ends need greasing?

ICON uses PTFE-lined FK rod ends and greaseless multi durometer bushings on most kits. The Ram 2500/3500 tubular links are the exception: ICON says their dual stage bushings can be greased.

What warranty applies?

ICON's published limited warranty applies to its link kits, for the original buyer and the vehicle they were first installed on. Contact us first for a claim and we will open it with ICON.

What's involvedThe factory rear lower links come off and the billet links mount rod end to the frame and bushing to the differential with factory hardware, then are length-adjusted at the pinch-bolt collarall hardware is re-torqued after 100 miles.

Here's the short version. Follow ICON's install sheet (below) for your vehicle's exact steps and torque values. These steps are for part 22063; the other parts on this page install from their own ICON sheet below.

  1. Place the vehicle on a smooth, level surface. Ensure that the vehicle is in PARK, engage the emergency brake, and chock the tires before performing any work to the vehicle.
  2. Remove the driver side rear lower link using a 21mm and 24mm.
  3. Mount the rod end to the frame using factory hardware. Pinch bolts should be facing out. Mount the bushing side of the link to the differential using factory hardware. Torque bolts to factory spec using a 21mm and 24mm.
  4. To adjust, loosen the pinch bolts billet link using a 3/8 12pt. Turn the L/R adjusting collar until desired length is reached.
  5. Make sure that the slit in the collar is lined up with the slit in the pinch housing and tighten pinch bolts using an alternating pattern [Torque to 40 ft-lbs]. Go back and forth between bolts 3 times to torque equally.
  6. Never exceed the maximum length as listed in the tech notes.
