- Adjust Length on the Vehicle: ICON's Double Adjuster, pinch-bolt housings and threaded rod ends let you change track bar length with the bar installed, so the axle can be centered after any height change.

Description & Fitment
Here is ICON's front adjustable track bar kit sized for the 2003-2010 Dodge 2500 and 3500 and 2011-2013 Ram 2500 and 2011-2012 Ram 3500, on 4WD models. ICON sells it to keep the axle centered under the vehicle when ride height is changed. On stock trucks or lifts up to 6" (with a drop bracket over 3"), ICON says it helps stop death wobble. ICON's sheet calls for the vehicle to be aligned once the parts are in.

Is an alignment part of the install?
Yes. ICON's install sheet for 214030 calls for the vehicle to be aligned once the track bar is in. The sheet is linked in the Installation section below.
Why does a lifted vehicle need an adjustable track bar?
A track bar locates the axle side to side. Lifting the vehicle changes its angle and shifts the axle off center, so an adjustable bar lets you set the length and center the axle again.
Will it fix death wobble?
ICON says its adjustable track bars help prevent the front-end wobble that worn or soft factory bushings can cause on these trucks. Wobble can have other causes too, so have the whole front end checked.
Do I need an alignment?
ICON calls for an alignment after most of its track bar installs, since centering the axle changes the front-end settings. The Installation section of each part shows what ICON asks for.
What warranty applies?
ICON's published limited warranty applies to its track bars and brackets, for the original buyer and the vehicle they were first installed on. Contact us first for a claim and we will open it with ICON.

Here's the short version. Follow ICON's install sheet (below) for your vehicle's exact steps and torque values.
- Place the vehicle on flat, level ground. Place vehicle in park, set the emergency brake, and chock the tires. Remove the factory track bar from the frame and axle using a 27mm socket/wrench.
- The ICON track bar comes preassembled from ICON with the parts listed above.
- Install the rod end side into the axle mounting pocket. Based on the year/factory bolt size, use the appropriate sized heim spacers supplied in the kit.
- Install the uniball side of the track bar in the frame mounting tabs using the appropriate spacers and factory hardware. [Torque to factory spec]
- Verify axle is centered/adjust as needed. Tighten the pinch bolts using a 3/8" 12pt wrench. [Torque to 45 ft-lbs]
- Have the vehicle professionally aligned.
