Description & Fitment

Here is ICON's front box kit sized for the 2005-2007 Ford F-250 Super Duty and F-350 Super Duty, on 4WD models. Think of it as the hardware side of ICON's 4.5" lift: brackets, spacers and the small parts. Inside you get longer front sway bar links fitted with polyurethane bushings in the 4.5" kit, or a front track bar drop bracket in the 7" kit. Options: 4.5" lift (64000) or 7" lift (67010).

What's involvedWith the axle supported, the front shocks come off, new coil springs go in on the original isolators, and a new track bar bracket and sway bar links installthe vehicle is aligned and re-torqued after 100 miles.

Here's the short version. Follow ICON's install sheet (below) for your vehicle's exact steps and torque values. These steps are for part 67010; the other parts on this page install from their own ICON sheet below.

  1. Lift the front end of the truck. Support the frame at the frame rail with jack stands.
  2. Support the differential with a floor jack and remove the front shocks. The shocks are limiting droop so MAKE SURE THE AXLE IS SUPPORTED OR THE AXLE WILL FALL when the shocks are removed.
  3. Lower the differential just enough to install the new springs. Place the original rubber isolator on top of the new coil and install. Be careful to not stretch or damage any lines.
  4. Re-install the track bar into the new bracket using the stock hardware. You may have to raise or lower the differential to help line up the holes. Using (2) 30mm [Torque to factory spec]
  5. Install sway bar links (PN 164030) using 1/2 hardware and a 3/4 [Torque to 78 ft-lbs].
  6. Align the vehicle before driving.
