- More Travel With ICON Coilovers: The arms are designed to give ICON's extended travel coilovers room to work, adding droop and wheel travel over the factory arms.
- Caster Corrected for Lifted Trucks: ICON builds caster correction into its arms so a lifted truck can be aligned to better specs, for steadier steering and tracking.
- Choose Tubular or Billet Arms: Tubular arms are CNC-bent DOM steel with a powder coat. Billet arms are machined 6061 aluminum, anodized, with on-vehicle caster and camber adjustment.
- Serviceable Bushings and Rod Ends: Tubular arms use greaseable, rebuildable dual stage bushings at the frame pivots, and billet arms use PTFE-lined rod ends there, so either version stays responsive and serviceable.
- Improved Suspension Component Clearance: ICON shapes its arms, including the H-beam billet designs, for better clearance around the coilover and other front suspension parts.
Description & Fitment
This ICON front upper control arm kit with the Delta Joint PRO fits the 2021-2026 Ford Bronco and is designed to give ICON's extended travel coilovers more room to work. The Delta Joint PRO is larger than the standard Delta Joint, gives up to 90 degrees of free articulation and is fully rebuildable. Choose the tubular arms (48400DJ) in CNC-bent, black powder-coated DOM steel or the billet arms (48500DJ) machined from 6061 aluminum with on-vehicle caster and camber adjustment. Finish with an alignment after fitting the arms.

Does this need an alignment after install?
Yes. ICON's install sheet for 48400DJ calls for the vehicle to be aligned once the upper control arm kit is in. The sheet is linked in the Installation section below.
Delta Joint or Delta Joint PRO?
Both are ICON high-angle ball joints. The Delta Joint PRO is larger, fully rebuildable and allows up to 90 degrees of articulation. ICON fits the PRO to its newer kits, and each title names the joint.
Tubular or billet?
Tubular arms are DOM steel with a powder coat and built-in caster. Billet arms are machined aluminum and add on-vehicle caster and camber adjustment. Where ICON offers both, choose the build at checkout.
Will I need an alignment?
Yes. New upper control arms change the front-end geometry, and ICON calls for an alignment afterward.
What warranty applies?
ICON's upper control arms carry its Limited Lifetime Warranty. The Delta Joint has 5 years when registered within 30 days of purchase, and the Delta Joint PRO 1 year. Contact us to register or claim.
Installation
Here's the short version. Follow ICON's install sheet (below) for your vehicle's exact steps and torque values. These steps are for part 48400DJ; the other parts on this page install from their own ICON sheet below.
- Lift vehicle and securely place heavy duty jack stands under the manufacturer recommended lifting locations for the front of the vehicle. Take care when lifting the vehicle, and allow 3-4" of ground clearance from the tire.
- Remove balljoint from the spindle using an 18mm, leave the nut on loosely. To free the taper from the spindle, a hammer or balljoint separator can be used.
- Support the spindle so the CV joints do not overextend and remove the balljoint nut.
- Install the supplied 90* grease zerks into the bushings housings, making sure the zerks point out, towards the tire.
- Install the delta joint into the spindle using the supplied nut and 21mm. [Torque to 75 ft-lbs]
- Reinstall wheels and tires, lower to ground and get professionally aligned.

Warranty
ICON's upper control arms carry its Limited Lifetime Warranty, and the ball joint carries its own Delta Joint or Delta Joint PRO terms.- Coverage belongs to the original retail buyer who owns the vehicle the part was first installed on.
- ICON parts must go on as the complete kit shown in ICON's application guide. Swapping out or leaving off a required part voids the warranty.
- The Delta Joint carries 5 years of coverage from the purchase date, but only when ICON's warranty registration is completed within 30 days of purchase; contact us and we will help you register. The Delta Joint PRO carries 1 year from the purchase date. Neither is transferable to a later owner, and neither applies when the joint runs with a suspension system that is not ICON's.
- ICON repairs or replaces a defective part, at its discretion. Removal, reinstallation, freight and incidental or consequential costs are not covered, and parts that wear in normal use are not treated as defective.
- Not covered: finish (including finish marks from shipping), alterations or modifications, installation that departs from ICON's instructions, racing use, police, taxi, government or commercial vehicles, and sales outside the United States and Canada.
- To claim, contact us first with your order number and a short description of the problem. We open the claim with ICON for you, and your Prestige Truck receipt is the proof of purchase ICON asks for.

Inspect on delivery
Check both arms, the Delta Joints, bushings, dust caps and hardware as soon as the carton arrives, and photograph any damage before installation. Check it as soon as it arrives.- Look for crushed ends, punctures or tears in the carton.
- If something looks wrong, take photos of the box and the parts (and if a driver asks you to sign, note the damage on the receipt).
- Open the box and check the parts against the parts list before you install.
