- Choose Tubular or Billet Arms: Tubular arms are CNC-bent DOM steel with a powder coat. Billet arms are machined 6061 aluminum, anodized, with on-vehicle caster and camber adjustment.
- Serviceable Bushings and Rod Ends: Tubular arms use greaseable, rebuildable dual stage bushings at the frame pivots, and billet arms use PTFE-lined rod ends there, so either version stays responsive and serviceable.
- Improved Suspension Component Clearance: ICON shapes its arms, including the H-beam billet designs, for better clearance around the coilover and other front suspension parts.
Description & Fitment
This ICON Vehicle Dynamics upper control arm kit fits the front of the 2021-2026 Ford F-150 in tubular or billet form. Tubular arms are CNC-bent DOM steel with a black powder coat, while billet arms are machined from 6061 aluminum in a hybrid H-beam shape with PTFE-lined rod ends and adjuster sleeves for on-vehicle alignment. The Delta Joint PRO is a larger joint that articulates up to 90 degrees without bind. It is fully rebuildable with an anodized billet cap over its grease fitting, and an alignment is the last install step.

Will I need an alignment afterward?
Yes. ICON's install sheet for 98522DJ calls for the vehicle to be aligned once the upper control arm kit is in. The sheet is linked in the Installation section below.
Delta Joint or Delta Joint PRO?
Both are ICON high-angle ball joints. The Delta Joint PRO is larger, fully rebuildable and allows up to 90 degrees of articulation. ICON fits the PRO to its newer kits, and each title names the joint.
Tubular or billet?
Tubular arms are DOM steel with a powder coat and built-in caster. Billet arms are machined aluminum and add on-vehicle caster and camber adjustment. Where ICON offers both, choose the build at checkout.
Will I need an alignment?
Yes. New upper control arms change the front-end geometry, and ICON calls for an alignment afterward.
What warranty applies?
ICON's upper control arms carry its Limited Lifetime Warranty. The Delta Joint has 5 years when registered within 30 days of purchase, and the Delta Joint PRO 1 year. Contact us to register or claim.

Here's the short version. Follow ICON's install sheet (below) for your vehicle's exact steps and torque values. These steps are for part 98523DJ; the other parts on this page install from their own ICON sheet below.
- Using a properly rated jack, raise the front of the vehicle and support the frame rails with jack stands. Ensure the jack stands are secure and set properly before lowering the jack. NEVER WORK UNDER AN UNSUPPORTED VEHICLE.
- Disconnect the tie rod from the knuckle using a 21mm and 10mm wrench.
- Remove the sway-bar link and upper control arm from the spindle. Support spindle with a jack or strap to prevent the CV (4x4) or brake lines from over extending (18mm, 21mm, T45 Torx).
- Use a screwdriver to lift the clip nut and relocate it down 3/4". Mark the center of the hole and drill it out to 1/2".
- Place the ICON upper control arm into the mounts on the chassis and hand tighten using OEM hardware.
- Have the vehicle professionally aligned.

ICON's upper control arms carry its Limited Lifetime Warranty, and the ball joint carries its own Delta Joint or Delta Joint PRO terms.- Coverage belongs to the original retail buyer who owns the vehicle the part was first installed on.
- ICON parts must go on as the complete kit shown in ICON's application guide. Swapping out or leaving off a required part voids the warranty.
- The Delta Joint carries 5 years of coverage from the purchase date, but only when ICON's warranty registration is completed within 30 days of purchase; contact us and we will help you register. The Delta Joint PRO carries 1 year from the purchase date. Neither is transferable to a later owner, and neither applies when the joint runs with a suspension system that is not ICON's.
- ICON repairs or replaces a defective part, at its discretion. Removal, reinstallation, freight and incidental or consequential costs are not covered, and parts that wear in normal use are not treated as defective.
- Not covered: finish (including finish marks from shipping), alterations or modifications, installation that departs from ICON's instructions, racing use, police, taxi, government or commercial vehicles, and sales outside the United States and Canada.
- To claim, contact us first with your order number and a short description of the problem. We open the claim with ICON for you, and your Prestige Truck receipt is the proof of purchase ICON asks for.

Inspect on delivery
Check both arms, the Delta Joints, bushings, dust caps and hardware as soon as the carton arrives, and photograph any damage before installation. Check it as soon as it arrives.- Look for crushed ends, punctures or tears in the carton.
- If something looks wrong, take photos of the box and the parts (and if a driver asks you to sign, note the damage on the receipt).
- Open the box and check the parts against the parts list before you install.
