- Extra Channels, 500 lb Rated: Additional extruded aluminum channels run under each panel, so the closed Professional Series holds up to 500 lb spread evenly, 100 lb more than the standard Hard Tri-Fold. Spread heavy loads rather than resting them on one point.
- Black Diamond Mist Panels: The aluminum panels wear a tough black diamond-plate urethane finish that LOMAX calls Black Diamond Mist. It is the only finish this line is offered in.
- One Pull Frees Both Latches: The Automatic Dual Locking System opens both latches with one tug on the release cord, which you can reach from either side. Unfold the panels and the cover locks itself at ten points; heavy-duty nylon latches meet the rails with 1/2" of engagement.
- Water-Shedding Hinges, No Drains: Reinforced vinyl-coated hinges, a continuous seal down each side rail and a water-shedding shape turn rain away, with no gutters or drain tubes. LOMAX calls the design water-shedding, and its manual says no cover keeps out all moisture and dust.
- Folds Forward, Lifts Off: Fold the panels toward the cab and retractable storage clips hold the stack on vinyl-capped standoffs. The LOMAX manual also shows how to slide the whole cover back off its hooks and lift it away for the full bed.

Will this fit my 2019-2027 Ram 2500 / 3500?
Yes, if it has the 6'4" box and no RamBox; not for dually models. Measure inside the bed floor from the bulkhead to the closed tailgate and match it to the label. If you're unsure, send us your VIN and we'll check.
Does it fit a dually or a RamBox truck?
No to both. This part is listed for 2019-2027 Ram 2500 and 3500 6'4" boxes without RamBox, except dually models. If you're unsure, send us your VIN and we'll check.
How is it different from the Hard Tri-Fold?
The Professional Series adds extruded aluminum channels under each panel, which lifts the rating from 400 lb to 500 lb and the weight to about 60 lb. It comes in one finish, Black Diamond Mist diamond plate. Latches, ten-point locking, clamps and the low profile are the same.
Is it waterproof?
LOMAX calls the design water-shedding. Vinyl-coated hinges and a continuous seal down each side rail keep most rain and snow out, but the LOMAX manual says no cover stops all moisture and dust, so keep anything that must stay dry in a closed container.
Do I have to drill my truck?
Not on most trucks. TIGHT BITE clamps hold the side rails, and a few beds use a LOMAX special sheet with bolt-on brackets, still without drilling. The exception is the GM CarbonPro box, whose sheet adds a 1/4" hole drilled through the bed cap at each bolt location.
What does the 500 lb rating mean?
It is the weight the closed cover supports when the load is spread evenly across the panels. LOMAX's manual also says never to stand, sit or ride on the cover, and to keep objects off it.
Installation

Here's the short version. The Professional Series uses the same LOMAX manuals as the Hard Tri-Fold; follow the one for your box length (below), plus any special sheet your truck needs.
- Set the side rails. On long boxes, first join each pair of rail sections at the pre-installed assembly bracket with the supplied carriage bolt and nut, leaving little to no gap. Set each rail with its weather strip against the inside lip of the box, the front catch toward the cab and the rail guide resting on top of the box, then push it forward until it touches the front of the box.
- Clamp each rail level. Have a helper or a spring clamp hold the rail. Fit the first clamp as close to the front as you can, snug it with a 1/2" wrench and make sure the teeth sit in the rail grooves, then raise or lower the clamp until the rail is level. Add the remaining clamps toward the tailgate, repeat on the other side and torque every clamp to 20 ft-lb, or the figure on your truck's special sheet.
- Seal the front of the box. Wipe the top of the bulkhead clean. Lift the bed cap at each front corner and press a generous bead of the black sealant into the gap between bulkhead and bed cap.
- Fit the front seal. With air and surface above 60Β°F, peel the backing as you go and stick the front seal along the front of the rails and the inside edge of the box, tall side facing the cab. Cut it to length and press it down firmly.
- Hook the cover on. Lift the folded cover onto the front of the rails, hold its rear edge 1" above them and slide the cover hooks under the front catches on both sides. Lower it so the latches drop into the retainment brackets, then clip both safety straps to their brackets.
- Unfold and leave it closed. Unhook the storage clips, unfold the middle panel and then the rear panel toward the tailgate, and check that every hook and latch is fully engaged. LOMAX asks you to leave the cover closed for at least 48 hours so it can settle to the box.

Agri-Cover, Inc., the maker of LOMAX covers, gives the LOMAX Professional Series a 3-year limited warranty: it is warranted free from defects in workmanship under normal use on the truck model it was made for.- The 3 years run from the date you received the cover or its date of manufacture.
- Agri-Cover repairs or replaces defective parts, at its option. No labor or service allowance is included, and incidental or consequential damages are not covered.
- Not covered: ordinary wear and tear, or damage from an accident, abuse, misuse, alteration, neglect or improper installation.
- For claims and registration help, contact us at support@prestigetruck.com with your order number and the cover's serial number (on a decal under the rear panel, driver side). We handle the claim with Agri-Cover.
- If Agri-Cover needs the cover back for inspection, it issues a return authorization (RA) number first; the cover ships to Agri-Cover freight prepaid, and Agri-Cover pays the freight to send it back.
