Features

  • Lift at both ends: SST kits raise the front and the rear, unlike a front leveling kit that lifts only the nose. ReadyLIFT calls SST kits the fastest, safest, least expensive way to mildly lift a vehicle at both ends.
  • Room for larger tires: The added height opens up the wheel wells for a bigger tire. ReadyLIFT lists tire guidance for every kit, based on specific wheel and tire brands, so test fit your combination.
  • Added ground clearance: ReadyLIFT pitches SST kits as a mild lift for more clearance and a better stance. Each kit page lists the front and rear lift it adds on your vehicle.
  • Engineered per platform: Each kit is designed around one vehicle's suspension, so its spacers, brackets and arms are made for that truck or SUV rather than a universal pattern.
  • Keeps a usable rake: ReadyLIFT says SST kits lift the front and rear while keeping a slight rake, so the vehicle still sits right when it tows or hauls.
  • Built to keep factory manners: ReadyLIFT's stated aim is added clearance without giving up the factory ride and handling. The kit contents on each page show exactly which parts are added or replaced.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this fit my 1999-2004 Ford F-250 Super Duty / Ford F-350 Super Duty?

Yes, if your truck matches a row in the fitment table: 1999-2004 Ford F-250 Super Duty; 1999-2004 Ford F-350 Super Duty; 2000-2004 Ford Excursion (4WD only; With 2-piece drive shaft; Leaf spring front suspension). If you're unsure, send us your VIN and we'll check.

Does it come with shocks?

No. This kit does not include shocks. The kit contents on this page list everything that comes in the box.

How is an SST kit different from a leveling kit?

A leveling kit raises only the front to take out the factory rake. ReadyLIFT's SST kits lift the front and the rear, so the whole vehicle gains height while keeping a slight rake for towing or hauling.

Will I need an alignment after installing it?

Yes. ReadyLIFT's install sheets call for a professional wheel alignment after installation and a headlamp aim check, and say to re-check fastener torque within the first 50 miles.

Does it affect driver-assistance cameras and radar?

It can. ReadyLIFT says vehicles with camera, radar or sonar based safety systems need those systems checked and adjusted for proper aim after installation, and some vehicles need dealer service to do it.

Can I install it myself?

ReadyLIFT recommends installation by a certified mechanic and says to read the instructions fully before you start. Each kit page shows ReadyLIFT's estimated install time and links the install sheet for that vehicle.

Installation

Install time About 4.8 hours (give or take 0.5), excluding alignment and wheel/tire mounting
Recommended installationProfessional
What's involvedFront lift parts and rear blocks go in with the truck raised and supported, then it gets aligned
AfterwardWheel alignment and headlamp aim check

Here's the short version. Follow ReadyLIFT's install sheet (below) for your vehicle's exact steps and torque settings.

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Support it safely on stands or a lift as the sheet describes, and remove the wheels.
  2. Install the rear blocks. Support the rear axle, remove the U-bolts, set the lift blocks between the axle and the leaf springs, and fit the U-bolts the sheet calls for.
  3. Run the final checks. With the vehicle on the ground, torque the wheels to factory specs, then turn the wheels fully left and right and check tire, brake line and ABS wire clearance.
  4. Align and aim. Have a professional wheel alignment done and check headlamp aim, then re-check fastener torque within the first 50 miles.

Warranty, shipping & returns

  • Warranty

ReadyLIFT backs its products with its "No Hassle" product warranty, which its install guides call a limited lifetime warranty. In ReadyLIFT's words: "If it breaks, we will give you a new part."
    • It covers the original purchaser of the ReadyLIFT product only.
    • Products with missing or defective components are covered. ReadyLIFT expedites the replacement part and may ask for the defective part back, at its expense, so its quality team can check it; that return does not hold up the replacement.
    • Wearable components, including but not limited to shocks, ball joints, heim joints, bushings and steering extensions, are covered for up to 1 year.
    • ReadyLIFT leveling kits, block kits and lift kits are not intended for off-road abuse, and damage from off-road abuse voids the warranty. Exception: ReadyLIFT Jeep SST and Terrain Flex lift kits are designed for normal off-road use and stay covered in recreational off-road environments.
    • Not covered: discontinued, clearance or outlet products; labor, installation, surcharges or other fees from the original purchase; consequential damage to the vehicle. ReadyLIFT may change, modify or cancel the warranty without prior notice.
    • Claims: contact us with your order number before removing a part you think is defective, and we'll start the claim with ReadyLIFT for you.
