- One-piece polycarbonate: The cover is one piece of aluminum-reinforced polycarbonate, with no hinges or seams, which Retrax says maximizes weather resistance. Retrax's sheet still notes it is not airtight.
- T-slot Trax Rails: T-slot Trax Rails on each side accept most T-slot racks, gear and mounts from major makers such as Yakima, Thule and Rhino-Rack, Retrax says (sold separately).
- Key-fob remote operation: An integrated electric motor runs the cover from either of the two included wireless key fobs.
- Stops and locks anywhere: Let go of the remote while it moves and the electromagnetic brake locks the cover at that point along the rail.
- LED cargo light: A key-fob LED light in the low-profile canister lights the bed when you load in the dark, with an auto shut-off to save the battery.
- Drain tubes: Water that gets into the canister leaves through drain tubes routed out of the truck. Retrax's sheet notes the cover is not airtight.
Description & Fitment
The Retrax PowertraxONE XR is an electric retractable tonneau cover with T-slot rails for the 2022-2027 Nissan Frontier with the 6'1" bed, for beds without factory sport bars. The one-piece polycarbonate cover runs from a key fob, and an electromagnetic brake locks it wherever you let go. A fob-controlled LED in the canister lights the bed and turns itself off. It clamps on with a vehicle-specific kit, runs off the truck battery through a fused harness and uses drain tubes to manage water.

Will this fit my 2022-2027 Nissan Frontier?
Yes, if it has the 6'1" (about 73.3") bed, without factory sport bars. Measure along the bed rail from the bulkhead to the closed tailgate; this bed runs about 73.3". If you're unsure, send us your VIN and we'll check.
Does it fit a truck with factory sport bars?
No. This part is for beds without factory sport bars. We don't list a version of this cover for that setup.
How is the PowertraxONE XR different from the PowertraxPRO XR?
Both are electric covers with T-slot Trax Rails, two key fobs, an electromagnetic brake, a fob-controlled light and a 3-year limited warranty. The ONE XR is a one-piece aluminum-reinforced polycarbonate cover rated for 200 lb; the PRO XR has double-walled aluminum slats rated for 500 lb.
What can I mount on the T-slot rails?
Retrax says the Trax Rails accept most T-slot racks, gear and mounts from major makers (sold separately). For rack load ratings, Retrax points you to the rack system's manual, and you must stay within your truck's capacity.
Is it safe with someone in the bed?
Retrax's Powertrax sheet says the cover has no manual release from inside the bed, so never let anyone, including children or pets, be in the bed with the cover closed, and keep hands clear of the moving cover.
Will it keep rain out of the bed?
The one-piece top has no seams and drain tubes carry water out of the bed, but Retrax's sheet says the cover is not airtight. Clear snow and ice off before you run it; that is a warranty condition.

Retrax backs the PowertraxONE XR with a limited warranty for three (3) years against defects in materials or workmanship, from the original date of purchase.- A defective cover or hardware component is repaired or replaced, at Retrax's option; Retrax may substitute a newer model with a similar form and function.
- It covers the original purchaser only and is not transferable. Keep your receipt, since proof of purchase may be required. Retrax asks for registration within 30 days of delivery; contact us for claims and registration help.
- To keep it valid: clean with mild automotive soap and water only, no strong chemicals; never lubricate the rails or sealed ball bearings; keep cargo secured at all points while driving; check every clamp and retention part for tightness after the first week of driving after installation (or reinstallation) and now and then after that; clear snow, ice and anything else off before opening; never tow the truck from the rear with the cover on (remove and store it first).
- Claims: contact us for claims and registration help. Retrax issues a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number before anything is returned. Retrax may ask for the part back postage prepaid, and shipping charges apply to a repair or replacement. A claim needs your order number, contact details, vehicle, product or part number, a description of the issue, the original receipt and photos.
- Not covered: damage from an accident, neglect, unforeseeable use, improper installation or servicing, or any other cause that is not a defect in material or workmanship. Retrax's general warranty page also lists normal wear (including fading), water intrusion and add-on accessories as not covered, and Retrax does not accept returns of non-defective products once installed.
