Fits the same truck
For the 5'7" bed on the 2017-2024 Nissan Titan, BAK makes this Revolver X2. Soft to the touch like a vinyl cover, it is backed by rigid aluminum slats that BAK rates at 400 lb spread evenly. Fitting it means clamping two rails to the bed walls, nothing to drill, in under an hour by BAK's figure. The same truck with the 6'7" bed (Revolver X2 39524, 2016-2024) takes a different part.
| Years | Model | Bed | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2017-2021 | Titan | 5'7" | — |
| 2022-2023 | Titan | 5'7" | w/o Factory Sport Bars |
| 2024 | Titan | 5'7" | — |
Check your bed: measure along the bed rail from the bulkhead to the inside of the closed tailgate. This part is for the 5'7" bed on the 2017-2024 Nissan Titan; BAK lists the bed by that label and publishes no inch figure. Fit notes from BAK: without factory sport bars (2022-2023 Titan).
Not for: the 6'7" bed (Revolver X2 39524, 2016-2024).
BAK makes hard tonneau covers. BAK bills itself as "America's #1 truck bed cover."
The range splits into BAKFlip hard folding covers (MX4, MX4 EZ-Lift, MX4 TS, G2, F1 and Fibermax) and Revolver hard roll-ups (X2, X4s and X4ts). The Revolver X2 is the value entry to the Revolver roll-ups.
Authorized BAK dealer. Prestige Truck is an authorized BAK dealer, so what we sell is new and genuine BAK. BAK's warranty "is nontransferable and applies to the original purchaser of the BAK product only," and BAK requires warranty registration on file or proof of original purchase (a detailed, dated receipt) for warranty service. Your Prestige Truck order receipt is that proof.
Yes, if it has the 5'7" bed. It fits the 2017-2024 Nissan Titan. Measure along the bed rail from the bulkhead to the closed tailgate, check the fit notes above, and if you are unsure, send us your VIN and we will confirm.
Yes, with two checks from BAK's install sheet: you remove the foam pads at the front of the rail brackets, and some drop-in liners need their corners trimmed so the rails sit in the opening.
Both use BAK's patented aluminum slats, locking rails and slam latches with a 400 lb rating. The X2 has DualShield 60-grade vinyl with a vinyl-grain finish and a 3-year warranty. The X4s steps up to TriShield 70-grade matte vinyl, an all-matte-black finish (slats, clamps and hardware) and a 5-year warranty.
It is built to: one-piece vinyl with no visible seams, flush side seals and a bulkhead seal. BAK calls it the most leakproof of all folding, roll-up and retractable covers, but its own install sheet notes the cover is not airtight, so plan on weather-resistant rather than sealed. Clear snow and ice off before you open it.
BAK rates the closed cover at 400 lb, evenly distributed. BAK's sheet also says not to drive with objects on top of the cover or tie cargo to it.
Yes. Roll it fully to the cab and secure it with both straps. BAK says never to drive with the cover partly open, and keeping it secured is a warranty condition.
Here's the short version. Follow BAK's install sheet (below) for your truck's exact clamp and bracket positions.

Super product that anyone can install without a Masters Degree in Engineering. Fit right out of the box and looks and works perfectly, Great Product!!!
Went on straight the first time. Kept bed dry during first rain.
Nice product. Installs quickly, fits correctly, secure, looks real good. Install instructions are ok but watch one of the installation videos as well and the job should go smoothly.
A bit pricy but in the end you get what you pay for. Easy to install, looks great, bed stays dry - even through the car wash.
Fits good, looks good, easy to install.
My tonneau cover is very nice though it did not initially fit. Though I was distressed by the automated email messages saying all was resolved before things were resolved, in the end BAK came through
After installing the cover it had a missing end plastic part. I called with the numbers off the product and within a short amount of time replacement part was delivered. So far so good.
Fits and looks great on my ‘23 Ford Ranger. Easy to install and was customized to my trucks rails. Very secure, and easy to operate.
Looks great. Some nice improvements over the previous one I had. However, it does not fit well. Only able to get 2 of the 4 hand knobs installed. The cover is too short and the rails are too long. The locking mechanism interfers with the cover.
Love it. Easy to use keeps everything dry!
Looks better than expected, fit the truck perfectly!
Excellent product, easily installed. Works great. This is my third truck I got one for.
Top quality product, easy to install, perfect fit. Makes the truck look awesome in appearance. Seals very nicely and secure locking.
Excellent cover! Easy install. My third truck with my third cover!
Best bed cover I've ever had. Well built and worth the money.
Best yet, I had a backflip VP and then a back flip HD and now the revolver X2. Love it I can roll it all up and still see out the back window.
Easy to install. Durable. My second one in 15 years.
I previously purchased this tonneau for my personal truck, a Ram 1500, and liked it very much. So much in fact, I purchased one for my company truck, a 2020 Ford F-150. I haven’t been pleased at all with it on the Ford. It seems as if it’s not quite wide enough for the Ford, so the locking mechanism doesn’t engage as well as it does on the Ram. We’ve been having a tremendous amount of wind in Nevada lately, and three times while driving through extreme side winds the cover has disengaged from the locks and slammed down into the bed. After only a few short weeks, the cover will not fit back onto the track properly. I probably won’t buy another one. The pictures are of my Ram after 4 years and if the Ford after a couple of months.
Easy to install and looks great. Ran it through A car wash and there was no water leakage in the bed..... A minor issue with an end cap was rectified with great speed by the manufacturer....
I love the hard roll cover, had no problems with it.
Super easy to install easy to unlatch an roll open just as easy to close an latch an looks really clean with the low profile
I own a 2019 Chevy Silverado that I bought second hand. I have owned a number of trucks and always installed covers on them, I wish I had known about this style cover before. Not only is this cover low profile, looks good but most of all with the aid of a self locking tailgate this cover secures my cargo very well. My cover still is in good condition but I will be replacing it with a new one as the previous oner did not properly protect the cover causing one corner to tear. Great product, well built and looks great on my truck.
Never had an issue with a cover from BAK on any of my previous trucks. Love the quality and ease of installation.
This is my 3rd cover. This last one went on my new ford lighting. Installation still fairly simple and I like the new plastic roll back finger protection feature. The older felt cloth always peeled off after couple years. Looks great and happy with it
Very happy with ease of getting it shipped and installed with no problems Had to use washers on it to make a tight fit but not a big problem
I’ve had many different types over the years. This is my 2nd X2. Absolutely the only way to go if you’re looking for this type of cover.
Cover arrived quickly, all components were in excellent condition. Installation process was smooth and efficient. I was able to unpack it and install it in a couple of hours. These covers are secure, durable, and they look awesome.
I stalled in 30 minutes and works great. I can' believe I waited so long to get one.
I bought the BAK Revolver X2 Tonneau Cover before going on a cross country trip. As a 65 yr. old woman I installed it myself and had no problems. I liked the fact that when my tailgate is locked no one can gain access to the bed as the cover release is behind the tailgate. Quality product!
First, the latch had to be trimmed so it would lock. Then the end tabs over latch keep popping off. Last the gaskets don’t seal tight with tailgate and if we get it to be tight the front doesn’t fit tight.. Not happy for money I sent plus waited forever to get to not be weather tight..
I’ve been adding tonneau covers to my trucks for many years. I have tried all different types, but this new one from bak, it’s by far the easiest cover to use and gives much more room than any cover I’ve ever used before. I absolutely love how easy it is to open up the entire cover and access anything in your bed. It locks into the tailgate very easily, and was extremely easy to install..
Very durable and well fit. Excellent cover!
The revolver x2 is amazing it keeps things in your bed dry and secure this is my second one. First one was for a 2013 f150 loved it had get one for my 2021 f250.
This is my 4th cover on 4 different trucks I have owned. This cover is everything BAK claimed it to be. Installed myself and took less than an hour. Went camping and was 29 degrees in the morning and was covered with thin ice. Rolled it open and closed no problem. Was a little stiff but no complaints here. When I unpacked it one of the corner plastic piece was broke. Called BAK and they shipped me out 2 sets right away. Customer service is awesome.
This is a great product! I’ve been on the fence for a long time about a cover that works well with a fifth wheel hitch. The BAK Revolver was the answer!!! Easy to install and looks great too. Wish I had done it when the truck was new.
I love my new BAK Revolver X2 tonneau cover. It easy to install and the directions were great. The cover fits my truck great and the the seal so far works very good keeping water out. I really like the sleek fit on the truck. I'm glad I got this style of cover verses the lower cost Velcro tonneau cover. My brother has the lower cost Velcro cover and on vacation he had to stop 3 or 4 times to reattach his cover because of high winds and passing semi-trucks.
Installation was a snap. Fitment was perfect. A superior product
I was nervous about spending so much on the cover, but worth every penny. Fit is great, instruction video for install was spot on and was easy to install. Rolls up nicely to preserve almost all available bed square-footage.
Perfect for the money
Love truck cover. I have ra and it’s is so easy to roll up!!
Pleased with product. Currently dealing with getting a new cap that was broken during packaging so we will see how that process goes. Cover is solid though. Very happy.
Nice looking cover. Easy to install, under 30 minutes. However, the vorners of the cover are seperating from the metal. Additionally while driving at highway speed the cover came unlatch grom the updraft created when big trucks pass. This caused the cover to flap in the eind like a kite. Happened three times, so mo chance of the cover not being properly secured. I now rollup the cover before getting on highway.
It what I wanted
Easy to install. Looks awesome on the truckload. Highly recommend.
It's great 👍
The best cover
Price was right, it looks great, and does a wonderful job of covering and securing the bed.
So far so good qith this cover. It looks great and is very functional. If I have one complaint is that it is not watertight. I understand this is challenging with Ram boxes since the cover doesn't go to the edge of the bed where rain could roll down the outside of the pickup box.
This is a good quality cover that has good fit and relatively easy to install. It took a couple quick adjustments to get the cover even. The latch and lock down system is great. It seals very well, there was only a little water that came in at the tailgate after going through a car wash. I definitely recommend buying this cover
The Revolver X2 cover is very stylish on m truck. The design of the cover is great engineering.
Great product would you recommend to anybody.
With a friend I installed the BAK Revolver X2 Tonneau cover in about 1/2hrs. I have a Ford Ranger with a bed liner. The video was excellent, the printed instructions we mediocre to misleading. Using the understanding from the Video we had it installed quickly. One of the end clip/cover was broken. I called service and the had a replacement out (sent me 2 sets .. excellent!) out to me in a couple days. The cover is everything I expected - sharp looking and very easy for me, or my wife, to use.
This tonneau cover is great. It has a sleek look and was super easy to install.
Unit arrived w/damage NOT caused by shipping. I look at a dimple in the center of a side rail. Unit slows water penetration. Lanyard pulls to release cover must be performed on each side, not as demonstrated in video as a single pull releasing both sides. Once closed, cover rides above tailgate.
Super easy to install and looks/functions awesome! Spent more time unboxing than i did with the actual install.
The BAK Revolver 2 was easy to install, with only a couple tools as described in the install videos. It keeps my tools and equipment dry and secure. Great product!
Very easy install took about 30 min. Very secure and 100% weatherproof. Great product
Excellent as was the X4 I had on my 2019 Ranger..
Instructions need improvement but install is not complicated. Took less than an hour including tossing the instructions in the round file.
Great product, very easy to install and looks great on my truck.
I had a previous cover that as soon as it rain my gear and tools would get wet (it was metal like a roll up door). Ordered this one and it was night and day! Couldn’t be happier.
best cover on the market
Awesome cover, best one out there and best looking
I got other for a cross-country trip and all of our things stayed secure and dry even through all of the rain we encountered. I love it!
Installation was quite a challenge. The rail system is a TIGHT fit. Helps to read all the directions first. "Add soapy water to the rails" would have been helpful before the instructional step. We used silicon spray and it was still miserable. Once in place, this cover is fantastic. I wouldn't call it water tight due to the 1/8" gap over the tailgate. I plan on adding a foam insulating strip to seal it.
Very disappointed with my purchase. The product quality is great, but it is impractical unless you only want to keep it closed, or roll it fully open. There is no other option. It needs to be tied down when open by some straps that clip into receptacles that are awkward to reach. If you're on a hill and want to access something in the truck, the roll-top rolls closed onto you. I installed it myself, and just can't get it to latch closed completely, even after multiple adjustments. Also when I close the tailgate, the back edge hits the gate. I've adjusted it, but still am not satisfied. Those things are all "installer" problems, I suppose, but I really miss the BakFlip that I had on my old truck. I would not buy this one again, and wish I had gotten the less expensive, and better for me BAKFlip VP. When this roll-top does latch closed, it looks great, but so did the tri-fold BAKFlip I…
Great product. Easy to install. Secured the bed of my truck and looks great
Great hard top
Looks great. Not a tough install. Would be easier with 2 people
Best looking cover I’ve seen on market, strongly built, fits perfectly, totally flush
I ordered the bak revolver x2 and really enjoyed it. I like how its very sturdy yet low profile and looks sleek. It is kinda pricey but it’s well worth it.
It fit perfectly. Excellent quality. Would definitely recommend.
This bed cover is by far the best I have ever owned or had the pleasure of interacting with. Many of my coworkers and family members have bed covers. This Tonneau Cover is so much easier to operate solo. The strength and rigidity only possibly surpassed by a hard cover which is not user friendly when moving larger items. I am so pleased that I will highly recommend this exact cover to everyone I meet. You won’t know how awesome one is until you own one.
I love my new tunnel cover my last one folded and blocked the rear window view, this one lets me see everything still!
Installed it in about 30 minutes and it fit like a glove. Has done a good job of keeping out water, and love how easy it is to roll back when I need access to the full bed.
Installed is 30mins and works well with the sport bar from go rhino
me and my son installed in about an hour very easy
The best things about this cover is the way it looks on the truck and its ease of use. However, after purchasing and installing it my thoughts are: 1. it is over priced, 2. The rails were not properly sized to fit my 2019 Ram 1500 Classic, I had to spread the entire length of the C channels to get them on, 3. There was sharp unfinished ends on the top rails that I had to file down so I wouldn't get cut, there was shavings of aluminum ALL OVER the vinyl cover from the manufacturing process and gaps that allowed rain to enter the bed that I had to add gasket material to to keep it out. Upon reading the reviews I found other had the same issues I had (wish I had read the reviews before purchase). Seems the manufacturer should pay more attention to the reviews. This could be a much better product than it is with a little attention to detail.
This cover is high quality but the price could be a little lower. Easy to install only took about 15 mintues. I love this cover!
This cover looks great and makes using the bed a simple task. It is reasonably water tight. The only water I have seen get in actually comes throught the space around the tailgate. Super glad I didnt buy a tri fold!
The revolver was very straightforward and easy to install by myself. I’ve taken it through the car wash a few times and I have very minimal water come through. I actually think most of it is from the bed rail anchors since there’s no cap and the water pressure shoots in from there. Love, the fact that even with a hard rollup, you can still see through your back windshield on what you have strap down.
Love the cover itself, looks good and super easy to install but unfortunately this happened. I believe a picture speaks a thousand words
I've had 2 of these over the past 7 years. I love them, but my main complaint is that the last couple of sections of the material and aluminum slats wear out from normal use after about 3-4 years. My first one was warrantied. The one I currently have wore out just after the warranty period. I roll it up and down a lot to use the bed and when the glue that holds the felt on the underside wears off, you catch your fingers in the slats rolling it up and down (and it hurts too, I may add). They don't seem to have a very long life. I'm torn as to whether or not to buy another one. The idea is great, but that's a lot of money to spend every few years when it wears out.
Easy to install, took about 30 minutes. Seems water tight and I have had some serious rain here lately. Would recommend to others.
Bought the Tonneau cover about 4 or 5 Years ago. Unfortunately as soon as it was out of warranty it started deteriorating. At the second year mark it was the handle to open the cover, which was replaced but now. It is completely coming apart. These items are expensive you will figure it will last more than 5 years. Overall, not pleased. I am now researching for a better Tonneau cover or bed frame.
So the quality of this product seems pretty good so far. I spent about 2 hours adjusting, loosening clamps and bolts to get it to fit just right. The tailgate end of the rails were bowing further apart if I tightened the clamps too much. Also had to lube the locking latch so it would close smoothly. Out of the box I couldn’t slam close it and had to pull the cord to get it to latch. Now it seems to be fitting well and stays locked while driving.
Cover looks great and installation was relatively easy. Be sure not to mount the rails too tight to the cab as it can inhibit the release mechanism.
Nice looking and durable. But lots of water still gets through even when the truck sits in the driveway.
The first year of the x2 on my tundra was great. At year two the adhesive holding the under dealt wore off, so lost the felt that keeps your hands from biting when rolling the cover. At the third year mark, as the warrantee expired, the vinyl is completely coming off the back and passenger side of the cover, exposing the metal. This does not look like an easy repair, and may wind up having to buy a new tonneau cover due to the poor adhesive used for the x2 cover.
The rolling metal is nice, however the material used feels cheap and fragile for the price I paid. The plastic end caps are flimsy and easily fall off (already lost one while on the road). I reached out to support and they've been really slow with responding.
Beware - while the cover itself is great and provides good security, the vinyl on my cover started pulling back on the sides and rolls up. Looks terrible. Of course, it happens six months after the three year warranty is up. It still functions but is an eyesore that now detracts from the good looks of my 2019 GMC Sierra.
It turns out that for the Ridgeline, which comes with a factory installed liner, I had to install 2 other bars that connect where the upper tie downs were. Also, you lose the use of the tie downs. None of this was disclosed during the purchasing of the cover. This also made the installation a lot harder. I have to remove the cover again to adjust it as it is getting water in the bed after a rain.
First few years it was great and would have given 5 stars back then. Easy to roll up or lock in place. Basically waterproof and looked good. After a while the vinyl started to peel away from the slats at the rear and sides. Year 4 and it was garbage and now I am shopping for a new one. I called their customer service but I bought this through a aftermarket truck shop. They were “unable” to repair or replace. I am not the first to report this issue. My tundra has a lot left and Replacing every 3 or 4 tears is a little pricey so I will go with something else this time.
The fit is great. The finish. Not so.all rubber seals are installed sloppy from factory front seal is about an inch difference in the middle and not one of the side covers are cut to the same length
There is a reason this product has a 3 year warranty. I have it on a 2020 GMC AT4 and it is exactly 3 years old. The felt came off of one side 9 months after install. I re-applied it twice because without it pinches the $h!t out of your fingers. It finally degraded completely after 2 years so I just rolled it up on one side. Two years in and the soft fake leather weather protecting top started to shrink and peel away. I also have to open the tailgate and pull with both hands on each side to get the cover to lock in place properly. Now I have to replace it because it leaks like a sieve and is rendered useless. I use the truck as a weekly commuter and it’s parked covered. Not abused or used that often. Run away from this one!!
The BAK RevolverX2 truck bed cover was an easy install, worked well and looked very nice until the 3 year warranty comes up. Around that time the underside felt stringers began to lose hold and it became difficult to roll the cover up….Which was soon followed by the vinyl failing and pulling away from the side seal. Once it began to give way the vinyl continues to pull away from the rest of the metal liner. This makes it impossible to roll the cover up without the metal pieces becoming jammed/falling apart, and also compromises its ability to keep any rain out of the truck bed. I would not recommend for purchase unless you plan on buying a new cover every three years. I expected more from a 1000 dollar cover.
I’ve posted this once but Bakflip is auditing reviews and only Posting certain ones. I purchased mine though a work program, after only 6 more months the top started to separate from the sides. The truck stays under a shed and out of the Texas sun for the majority of its life. I emailed Bakflip about the warranty and they mentioned they couldn’t find me in the system, replied to that email and never heard back. Now going on 1 year, the top is starting to separate from the end where the tailgate meets it. Bakflip will not respond to me, will Not help in any sort of way, doesn’t care what happens to the cover on my truck because it was bought through a work program and I don’t have a receipt. Even though it was bought through a work program they should still stand behind the quality of their product. Bakflip doesn’t not stand by it’s quality. Be careful spending your money with Bakflip…
The manufacturer has placed plastic tabs on the end of the cover that snap off. I have been through 3 of these covers now and 2 of them have shown up with the piece broken off. These covers didn’t used to have these tabs and is still shown that way in the pictures. I hope the manufacturer returns to the old model because the quality is way better. I have attached photos to show what I am talking about. The one photo is what its supposed to look like and the other is what it looks like when it breaks off and it snaps off easily.
Got a pin hole in it within the first month and decal fell off. Put in a warranty claim and haven’t been contacted back in over a week now. Not what I expected after paying the money I did!!!
The cover looks great on the advertisement videos. When I received mine, I was excited to get it installed. Should have been a vey quick install, but turns out, I was missing hardware and had to wait about a week for the correct hardware. Then completing the install I found one of the side rails was damaged and I waited another week or so for the replacement. The plastic tabs on the corners on the tailgate side of the bed look cheap and mis aligned. After a couple of weeks I found the cover would not roll out flat after rolling it up to open it. Seems the metal slats under the cover were not aligning when the cover was unrolled. The manufacturer sent me a replacement but after another few weeks the replacement started to do the same thing. I don’t use my truck very often and I’m not using it for work or treat the cover roughly. It just does not seem like the rolling cover is well…
This cover was installed on a 2018 GMC Sierra 1500. It looked good and functioned well during the first year, but then the problems began. The cover would freeze shut in cold weather (temps below freezing) and could not be opened. Then when daily temps started warming up, the felt strips on the cover’s underside became unattached and fell into the truck bed. Attempts to reattach with gorilla glue failed. Finally, the vinyl top has shrunk and begun to separate from the aluminum panels on both sides of the cover. Not the best product for the money spent. I will not purchase again.
I bought my cover three years ago. Came out of the box damaged but couldn't tell till I already put it on the truck. By that time I wasn't allowed to send it back. Anyway, it leaked right from the beginning and if it was raining I had to just accept that whatever was in my bed was still gonna get wet. It started falling apart fairly quick too, like within a year. It also didn't fit the best towards the tailgate area. On the flipside, I really liked the way it looked, and I loved the low profile to it! The way it rolled up was always nice to have (I could still see out my back window if it was rolled up)!
I've had this for a year and 3 months on my Toyota Tundra. The design ideas are good but some of the implementation is not. I've had a slat unhinge and can't hinge back into place. Some of the covering is cracking from the heat and coming unglued at the back where you unlock it. I'll be looking for something else in the future when this one is no longer usable.
The truck bed cover works great and looks good too. It’s solid and definitely not something a person could easily cut or pry open. It’s heavy duty and hasn’t let any water in the bed. It does trap heat inside the bed really well though, like an oven. Because of that the metal that makes up the bottom gets hot and if you’ve got to roll it up it can be like a stove top pan. Not a problem, just an observation Mine arrived with a dent along one of the long rails. Not sure what from and it didn’t affect installation but still a but disappointing
Overall I love this bed cover. I do wish they made the sides just a little more sturdy.
Looks good on a Chevy!
As the cover looks great and everything, the operation isnt as smooth as described but the only reason i gave it 4 out 5 stars is the fact that the cover isnt water tight on my 2019 chevy Silverado. It leaks at the front corners. I used the rubber foam strip that the cover came woth and yet it still leaks.
Received cover and I immediately put it on my truck. The installation was pretty straight forward and easy to do by yourself. I have had it now about 3 months and it has worked great. Rainwater was kept out. I find it is easier to roll the cover than flip the cover(Had a Bakflip on the old truck). The only complaint I have is that when I drive the truck with cover open it started to create an indent from the weight of the cover sitting in one spot. This is the only drawback I see to this cover and a little disappointed with the money I spent on it. It is noticeable when the cover is closed, that’s why I gave it 4 stars. If search the internet you will see this apparently is a common problem, however there are sites that show you how you can fix this issue. Would I buy the cover again…maybe but then why should you spend more money on a cover that just cost you a whole lot of money.
