- Opens from the key fob: Two wireless remotes come with the cover. One press of the large button runs it open or closed, another press stops it, and Roll-N-Lock's sheet says it stops by itself at the tailgate and at the canister.
- MaxTrak T-slot rails: Two slim T-slot rails, Roll-N-Lock's MaxTrak system, run along the sides of the cover. Fit crossbars (sold separately) and Roll-N-Lock says the rails take most T-slot racks and accessories. Crossbars and racks are not included.
- Motor-driven, locks anywhere on the track: An electric motor at the canister moves the dual-layer aluminum deck, and Roll-N-Lock says it locks in any position along the tracks, so a tall load can ride with the cover part-closed. Roll-N-Lock also describes an auto-stop that cuts the motor if something is in the way; keep hands and cargo clear while it moves regardless.
- LED cargo light: The canister carries an integrated LED cargo light. Switch it on and off with the small left button on the remote; Roll-N-Lock's guide says it switches itself off after three minutes.
- Locks with your tailgate: Run it closed to the tailgate and it stays locked; Roll-N-Lock says it locks in any position along the tracks, and its guide puts the manual override on the passenger-side track inside the bed, with the lever pushed back to lock the cover. Shut a locking tailgate and the bed is closed off until you open it. Roll-N-Lock's sheets still note that no bed cover prevents theft outright.
- Clamps on, wires to battery: The tracks mount with a truck-specific kit, and Roll-N-Lock notes that installation is the same for the E-Series and XT tracks. A fused power wire runs under the truck to the battery on an existing harness, and the drain tubes and power wire need holes in the bed; your truck's sheet shows where.

It's for owners who want key-fob control of the bed plus a base for crossbars, though it won't fit trucks with the factory spray-in liner carrying the molded Tundra nameplate or the Trail Edition package. The cover locks in any position along the tracks, so a tall load can ride with it part-closed, and a mechanical override cable lets you work it by hand if the remote won't. Frequently Asked Questions
Will this fit my 2022-2026 Tundra?
Yes, if it has the 6'7" bed, about 78.7" long. Measure along the bed rail from the bulkhead to the inside of the closed tailgate. It is not for the 5'7" bed (575E-XT). It won't fit a truck with the factory spray-in liner that carries the molded “Tundra” nameplate or the Trail Edition package. If you're unsure, send us your VIN and we'll confirm.
Do I have to drill into my truck?
Expect to drill holes for the drain tubes and the power wire, and a plastic drop-in bedliner has to be cut. The fused power wire runs under the truck to the battery along an existing harness. Roll-N-Lock's sheet for this truck shows where.
Are crossbars included?
No. The MaxTrak T-slot rails are part of the cover, but crossbars and racks are sold separately. Roll-N-Lock says the rails accept most T-slot racks and accessories; tell us which rack you have and we'll check it with Roll-N-Lock before you order.
How is it different from the E-Series?
It's the same electric cover, with the same remotes, LED cargo light, override cable and 5-year limited warranty, plus two MaxTrak T-slot rails along the sides. Roll-N-Lock's E-Series sheets note that installation is the same for the standard track and the XT track.
What if the remote stops working or the battery is dead?
Use the manual override. The override cable mounts on the passenger-side track; pull the lever and turn it to lock it out, and the cover moves by hand. Unlock the lever and push it back to lock the cover again. If the cover won't run at all, Roll-N-Lock's first troubleshooting check is the connection at the battery.
Is it waterproof?
No, and Roll-N-Lock doesn't claim it is. Seals and patented hinges shed rain and snow, and two drain tubes carry water that gets past them out of the bed, but Roll-N-Lock's sheets say the cover is not airtight and its warranty excludes water intrusion. Keep the canister and drains clear of debris.
Installation

Here's the short version. Follow Roll-N-Lock's install guide (below) for the exact hardware letters and the wiring diagram.
- Run the power wire. Drill a 3/4" hole through the existing small hole in the bed floor on the driver side and feed the end of the power wire through to the ground, leaving 3' of wire in the bed. Route it under the truck along an existing wiring harness to the battery with the supplied zip ties, join the fuse holder to the white wire connector, then connect the fuse holder ring to the positive terminal and the black wire to the negative.
- Prep the bed. Remove the factory rail channels at the bulkhead and on both sides. Press a butyl strip into the seam on each side, drill a 1/2" hole through the existing hole in the bed floor on the passenger side, center the housing between the bed rails against the bulkhead, and lift off its lid by pushing it toward the cab and up.
- Fit the L brackets and tracks. Screw a Tundra L bracket into holes 2 and 5 from the rail channels on each side with a pan head screw and flat washer, fully tightened (the RC576E uses three brackets a side). Key each track onto the housing stems so its edge butts against the housing, and fix it with a cargo nut and #10-24 screw. Leave the protective piece in the housing until the tracks are on.
- Set the spacing and tighten. Close the tailgate and slide the housing back until the track ends meet the tailgate. Use the cargo shield notches to set the inside track-to-track width to 59 7/16"; Roll-N-Lock warns the cover won't run properly otherwise. Leave 1/8" between the track end caps and the tailgate, line the angles up with the track clamps and shim for height, then tighten the back (tailgate) fasteners first and the front ones second with the 1/4" Allen wrench.
- Refit the lid, drains and power. Set the lid back on (down, then toward the tailgate) and fit the lid screws. Feed a drain tube through each drilled hole, the 1/2" and the 3/4", toward the ground and onto the housing fitting on each side. At the housing, unwrap the light wires from the motor wire, zip-tie the power wire loosely to the front of the unit, plug the motor wire into the power wire, and plug in the light wires black to black and red to white before tightening and trimming the zip ties.
- Fit the shield and override, then test. Take the two remotes off the housing. Fix the cargo shield to the slots at the bottom of the housing with the black rubber washers and 1/4-20 x 3/8" screws. On the passenger-side track only, mount the override cable's small bracket toward the front and its large bracket toward the back with cargo nuts and #10-24 screws, then pull the soft cable taut through the coupler and tighten it. The large remote button runs and stops the cover, and it stops by itself at the tailgate and housing.

Warranty
Roll-N-Lock warrants the E-Series XT against defects in materials and workmanship for five (5) years from the original date of purchase.- A defective cover or hardware part is repaired or replaced at Roll-N-Lock's option, and Roll-N-Lock may substitute a newer model of similar form and function. Labor to remove or reinstall the cover is not covered.
- It covers the original purchaser only and is not transferable. It ends if the cover is moved to another vehicle or the truck changes owners. Keep your proof of purchase; contact us for help with registration or a claim.
- To keep it valid: clean with mild automotive soap and water only, no strong chemicals; never lubricate the rails or tracks with silicone or petroleum products; keep cargo, the cover and the tether strap secured while driving; check every clamp and mount for tightness after the first week and now and then after that; clear snow and ice off before opening; take the cover off before the truck is towed from the rear.
- Claims: Roll-N-Lock issues a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number before anything is returned, and may ask for the original part back, shipped prepaid, for a final decision. Contact us first and we will start the claim with Roll-N-Lock.
- Not covered: damage from an accident, neglect, improper installation or servicing; use below -30°F or above 120°F; water intrusion, including leaks from normal use; misuse, modification or tampering; normal wear, cosmetic damage or finish fading from sun or chemicals; acts of God; parts not made by Roll-N-Lock.
