Description & Fitment

The TeraFlex 1.5" Sport ST1 Spring Lift System suits 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK 2-door owners who want a lifted look and room for bigger tires on a daily driver that also hits the trail. It includes lift coil springs, bump stops and front sway bar quick disconnects matched to the 1.5" height. The springs barely change factory geometry, so highway ride and handling are kept, while progressive front bump stops prevent tire contact and shock bottoming. It bolts on with no cutting or welding, and longer shocks are required but not included.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does it come with shocks?

No. Longer shocks are required; TeraFlex recommends Falcon Performance Shocks and also sells the ST1 with Falcon Series 2.1 shocks.

Will it fit the other JK body style?

No. This is the 2-door version; the 4-door JK Unlimited version is 1311000.

Can I keep my stock wheels?

Only with Offset Wheel Adapters (1055000); otherwise use wheels with 4.75" or less backspacing.

What warranty does TeraFlex give?

TeraFlex covers the control arms, coil springs, bump stops, track bars and sway bar parts in its Sport ST systems for life against defects in materials and workmanship, and paint and powder coat finishes for 90 days. Contact us to confirm coverage or start a claim.

What's involvedLower each axle to swap in the new springs, drill a 3/8" hole in each front spring pad for the extended bump stops, and add the rear bump stop pads. Torque at ride height and center the steering.

Here's the short version. Follow TeraFlex's install sheet (below) for your Jeep's exact steps and torque values.

  1. Front: support the axle, drop the front driveline at the axle (15mm) and the track bar at the axle (21mm), unclip the ABS lines, slide the breather tube clip 3" down the shock tower, then lower the axle, remove the springs and the upper bump stops.
  2. Drill a 3/8" hole in the center of each front spring pad and fit the extended bump stops (cup extension marking to the front), raising the axle with a hydraulic jack to seat them.
  3. Install the TeraFlex springs together with the Speedbump pads (3/8" bolt through the pads, nut below), then fit the front shocks: top nut 20 ft-lbs, bottom bolt 56 ft-lbs (Falcon shocks per their own instructions).
  4. Rear: support the axle, remove the shocks, axle-side track bar bolt, sway bar links, parking brake cable hanger and brake line brackets, then lower the axle and fit the rear springs.
  5. Install the rear lower bump stop pads (extended end forward, 200 in-lbs), cycle the sway bar and bend the brake line and bracket to clear it, and refit the sway bar links at 59 ft-lbs.
  6. Center the steering wheel with the drag link before test driving, refit the wheels, lower the Jeep and torque all remaining suspension and track bar bolts at ride height.

TeraFlex's warranty list names no separate term for coil spring spacers or drop brackets, so contact us if you need that term before ordering.
    • TeraFlex extends its limited warranty only to the consumer who first bought the product, and only on the vehicle the part was first installed on. It does not pass to a later owner.
    • Coverage starts on the purchase date and does not restart if a part is repaired or replaced.
    • For a covered defect, TeraFlex will either repair or replace the product (or the faulty part) free of charge or refund the purchase price, at its discretion, and it pays the freight to send a repaired or replacement part back to you.
    • Not covered: damage from transportation, storage, improper use, skipped instructions or preventive maintenance, modifications, unauthorized repair, normal wear and tear, product finish, improper installation or maintenance, racing or competition, or accidents, abuse and neglect. Improper installation, poor maintenance, racing or competition use, and neglect or abuse void the warranty.
    • Paint and powder coat finishes carry 90 days of defect coverage only, not wear from use.
    • Claims: contact us first. Keep your proof of purchase or original invoice; removing the part from the vehicle and the inbound shipping are the owner's responsibility.
