Description & Fitment
The TeraFlex 2" Performance Spacer Lift Kit is TeraFlex's most economical way to lift a 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ or Wrangler Unlimited LJ, with as few modifications as possible. The spacers work together with the factory rubber isolators to reach the full 2" lift, so the isolators stay in. Buy it with TeraFlex 9550 VSS Twin-Tube shocks (1245200), or without shocks (1341200); the no-shock kit needs longer shocks, and TeraFlex recommends its 9550 VSS Twin-Tube Shock Kit (1545270).

Yes. TeraFlex says the kit must be used with the factory rubber isolators to reach the 2" lift.
Which version do I need?
1245200 includes 9550 VSS Twin-Tube shocks. 1341200 has no shocks and needs longer ones; TeraFlex recommends its 9550 VSS kit 1545270.
How long does install take?
TeraFlex estimates about 5 hours with shocks (1245200) and about 4 hours without (1341200).
What warranty does TeraFlex give?

Installation
Here's the short version. Follow TeraFlex's install sheet (below) for your Jeep's exact steps and torque values.
- Jack the Jeep up by the frame, secure it on jack stands and remove the shocks.
- Pull the rubber bump stops down and out with a side-to-side motion, then remove the bolt inside each bump stop cup with a 15mm socket.
- Remove the coil springs.
- Refit each bump stop cup with the new kit bolt (16mm socket), placing the spacer between the bump stop cup and the bump stop pedestal; the kit lists 10mm x 55mm bolts for the front and 10mm x 65mm for the rear.
- Reinstall the springs with the black spring spacers placed on top of the springs.
- Reinstall the shocks.

TeraFlex covers its 9550 shocks for life against defects in materials and workmanship, and paint and powder coat finishes for 90 days (defects only).- TeraFlex extends its limited warranty only to the consumer who first bought the product, and only on the vehicle the part was first installed on. It does not pass to a later owner.
- Coverage starts on the purchase date and does not restart if a part is repaired or replaced.
- For a covered defect, TeraFlex will either repair or replace the product (or the faulty part) free of charge or refund the purchase price, at its discretion, and it pays the freight to send a repaired or replacement part back to you.
- Not covered: damage from transportation, storage, improper use, skipped instructions or preventive maintenance, modifications, unauthorized repair, normal wear and tear, product finish, improper installation or maintenance, racing or competition, or accidents, abuse and neglect. Improper installation, poor maintenance, racing or competition use, and neglect or abuse void the warranty.
- Paint and powder coat finishes carry 90 days of defect coverage only, not wear from use.
- Claims: contact us first. Keep your proof of purchase or original invoice; removing the part from the vehicle and the inbound shipping are the owner's responsibility.

Check each shock's part number and label against your variant (front or rear, lift range), look for shipping damage to the body and rod, and contact us right away about anything wrong. Check it as soon as it arrives.- Look for crushed ends, punctures or tears in the carton.
- If something looks wrong, take photos of the box and the parts (and if a driver asks you to sign, note the damage on the receipt).
- Open the box and check the parts against the parts list before you install.
