Description & Fitment
For the long-wheelbase 2004-2006 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited LJ, TeraFlex's Enduro LCG Long Arm Suspension System pairs Pro LCG lower long arms and brackets with adjustable rear upper short arms that bolt to the factory mounts. Four versions: 3" (33" tires) or 4" (35" tires), each with TeraFlex 9550 VSS twin-tube shocks or without shocks. TeraFlex says it is not compatible with Rubicon models, and the lower brackets require cutting and welding.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will it fit a short-wheelbase TJ?
No, this is the LJ Unlimited version. The TJ version is 1249372. It is also not for Rubicon models.
How do the four options differ?
1249382 is 3" with 9550 VSS shocks, 1249482 is 4" with shocks, 1449382 is 3" without shocks and 1449482 is 4" without shocks.
What else should I plan for?
Wheels with 4.5" backspacing or less, or TeraFlex 1005200 offset wheel adapters with stock wheels, plus cutting and welding for the lower brackets. Lifts of 4" and up need a CV-style driveshaft and a TeraFlex short shaft slip yoke eliminator kit (4444400 or 4444401).
What warranty does TeraFlex give?
TeraFlex covers its control arms, IR bushings and long arm brackets for life against defects in materials and workmanship. Non-IR control arm bushings carry 1 year and finishes 90 days. Contact us with your order details to confirm coverage on any other part or to start a claim.

Installation
Here's the short version. Follow TeraFlex's install sheet (below) for your Jeep's exact steps and torque values.
- Support the TJ under the frame so the axles fully droop, remove the tires, shocks, sway bar links, coil springs and lower control arms, support the transmission and remove the transfer case skid plate.
- Cut off the front lower and rear lower control arm mounts without cutting into the frame, slide the one-piece lower arm brackets up over the frame on the skid plate bolts, tack weld each in 4 places and paint the welds.
- Bolt on the Belly Up skid plate (or modify the factory skid for rear arm clearance) and mount the transmission to it.
- Rear: fit the new lower arms and the track bar bracket extension (spacer in the old bolt hole, 5/16" holes drilled for the small bolts), reattach the track bar, then the 6.50" OD springs, shocks and longer sway bar links.
- Front: fit the arms, springs and bump stops, the steering box skid plate (drill 5/16" for the self-tapping bolt), the brake line extensions and the disconnect sway bar links with their securing stud (3/8" tapped hole, p6).
- Bleed the brakes passenger rear, driver rear, passenger front, driver front, tighten all arm jam nuts after alignment, grease the arms, and recheck fasteners, welds and jam nuts after the first 100 miles.

TeraFlex covers its control arms, IR bushings and long arm brackets for life against defects in materials and workmanship. Alpine control arm bushings other than IR carry 1 year, and paint and powder coat finishes 90 days (defects only).- TeraFlex extends its limited warranty only to the consumer who first bought the product, and only on the vehicle the part was first installed on. It does not pass to a later owner.
- Coverage starts on the purchase date and does not restart if a part is repaired or replaced.
- For a covered defect, TeraFlex will either repair or replace the product (or the faulty part) free of charge or refund the purchase price, at its discretion, and it pays the freight to send a repaired or replacement part back to you.
- Not covered: damage from transportation, storage, improper use, skipped instructions or preventive maintenance, modifications, unauthorized repair, normal wear and tear, product finish, improper installation or maintenance, racing or competition, or accidents, abuse and neglect. Improper installation, poor maintenance, racing or competition use, and neglect or abuse void the warranty.
- Paint and powder coat finishes carry 90 days of defect coverage only, not wear from use.
- Claims: contact us first. Keep your proof of purchase or original invoice; removing the part from the vehicle and the inbound shipping are the owner's responsibility.

Inspect on delivery
Long arm parts ship in several boxes. Check every arm, bracket and hardware pack against the part list in the TeraFlex instructions before you start cutting, and contact us right away about anything missing or damaged. Check it as soon as it arrives.- Look for crushed ends, punctures or tears in the carton.
- If something looks wrong, take photos of the box and the parts (and if a driver asks you to sign, note the damage on the receipt).
- Open the box and check the parts against the parts list before you install.
