Description & Fitment
TeraFlex's Alpine Short Control Arm Kit (8-Arm) replaces all eight control arms on a 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK with adjustable Alpine short arms for lifts of 2"-4". The kit bolts to the factory control arm brackets, so no welding is needed, and it can go onto a lift that's already installed. The arms use factory-style bushings. An alignment is required once they're in.

About TeraFlex
TeraFlex describes itself as a Jeep company at heart, started and staffed by people who drive them. It designs, engineers and builds suspension systems, shocks, axles and performance parts, with the Wrangler and Gladiator at the center of the range.
The company traces its roots to the 1950s and MEPCO (Military Equipment Parts Company), an early supplier of Jeep parts. TeraFlex Manufacturing followed in 1996 to build heavy-duty suspension for the TJ Wrangler, and today's catalog runs from full lift systems and the Falcon shock line to axles, steering and armor.
Authorized TeraFlex dealer. Prestige Truck is an authorized TeraFlex dealer, so what we sell is new and genuine TeraFlex. In TeraFlex's words, its limited warranty extends "only to the consumer who originally purchased the product," so keep your receipt with your build records.

Installation
Here's the short version. Follow TeraFlex's install sheet (below) for your Jeep's exact steps and torque values.
- Raise and support the Jeep at the factory service manual points and remove the wheels; never remove more than 2 arms at a time, and keep any cam washers for reuse.
- Front lowers: unbolt the stock arm (21mm), set the Alpine arm to 23 1/8", fit the fixed end at the frame with the decal out and the adjustable end at the axle (cam bolts full forward or cam eliminator washers), bolts finger tight.
- Front uppers: free any wiring, remove both arms (21mm), set the Alpine arms to 18 7/8", fit the adjustable end at the frame with the decal out, bolts finger tight, and reattach the wiring.
- Rear lowers: support the pinion, remove both arms (21mm), set the Alpine arms to 20 1/8" (2-door) or 20 1/2" (4-door), clamp bolts 30 ft-lbs, fit with the fixed end at the frame; rear uppers (18mm): set to 18 5/16" (2-door) or 18 1/2" (4-door), fixed end at the frame, decal out (p6).
- Refit the wheels, lower the Jeep and, at ride height (arms with Alpine IR bushings may be torqued in the air), torque front lower axle bolts to 117 ft-lbs, lower frame bolts and rear uppers to 125 ft-lbs, front uppers to 75 ft-lbs, then the clamp bolts evenly to 30 ft-lbs (p4).
- Have a full 4-wheel alignment done and re-torque all hardware after 500 miles.

Warranty
TeraFlex covers the control arms, IR bushings, coil springs, bump stops, track bars and sway bar parts in these systems for life against defects in materials and workmanship. Alpine control arm and track bar bushings other than IR carry 1 year, and paint and powder coat finishes 90 days (defects only).- TeraFlex extends its limited warranty only to the consumer who first bought the product, and only on the vehicle the part was first installed on. It does not pass to a later owner.
- Coverage starts on the purchase date and does not restart if a part is repaired or replaced.
- For a covered defect, TeraFlex will either repair or replace the product (or the faulty part) free of charge or refund the purchase price, at its discretion, and it pays the freight to send a repaired or replacement part back to you.
- Not covered: damage from transportation, storage, improper use, skipped instructions or preventive maintenance, modifications, unauthorized repair, normal wear and tear, product finish, improper installation or maintenance, racing or competition, or accidents, abuse and neglect. Improper installation, poor maintenance, racing or competition use, and neglect or abuse void the warranty.
- Paint and powder coat finishes carry 90 days of defect coverage only, not wear from use.
- Claims: contact us first. Keep your proof of purchase or original invoice; removing the part from the vehicle and the inbound shipping are the owner's responsibility.
