Description & Fitment
This TeraFlex Coil Spring Base Lift Kit lifts a 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ or Wrangler Unlimited LJ 3" (1141300) or 4" (1141400), and it is not for Rubicon models. As a base kit it includes only the basic lift parts and leaves out the quick disconnects and shocks, so you can add the shocks and disconnects that suit your build. It needs adjustable control arms and/or an adjustable front track bar to correct suspension geometry, plus longer shocks, caster correction and an alignment. A 4" lift also needs a CV-style driveshaft and a slip yoke eliminator, which is highly recommended at 3" too.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will it fit my Rubicon?
No. TeraFlex lists this kit as not compatible with TJ/LJ Rubicon models.
What do I need with the 4" kit?
A CV-style driveshaft and slip yoke eliminator kit (4444400 or 4444401), caster correction and an alignment. TeraFlex also suggests its Pro LCG High Steer System (1849000) for 4"+ lifts.
Can I run my stock wheels?
Only with Offset Wheel Adapters (1005200); otherwise use aftermarket wheels with 4.5" or less backspacing.
What warranty does TeraFlex give?
TeraFlex covers its coil springs and 9550 VSS shocks for life against defects in materials and workmanship, and paint and powder coat finishes for 90 days. Contact us to confirm coverage on other parts of your kit or to start a claim.

Can you confirm it's the right kit before I order?
Yes. Contact us with your VIN or year, model, doors and trim, plus your wheels, tires and any lift parts already fitted, and we'll check it against TeraFlex's fitment information before it ships.
Installation
Here's the short version. Follow TeraFlex's install sheet (below) for your Jeep's exact steps and torque values.
- Front: disconnect the front track bar at the axle (T50 Torx or 17mm, p10), the sway bar links and the shocks, then remove the front springs.
- On kits with lower FlexArms (1456330), remove the front lower control arms and install the FlexArms; then fit the front bump stop extensions, the new front springs and new or existing shocks.
- With the steering centered, bounce the Jeep, raise the track bar end into its axle bracket and drill a new 13/32" hole where it lines up; fit the new 10mm x 75mm bolt at 40 ft-lbs.
- Fit the new quick disconnect links, or reconnect the factory front sway bar links on kits without them (1141300, p9).
- Rear: remove the track bar, sway bar links, shocks and springs (and swap the lower arms on FlexArm kits), then install the rear bump stop extensions, new springs, new or existing shocks, the rear track bar bracket and the new rear sway bar links.
- Install the transfer case drop kit where the kit list includes it.

TeraFlex covers its coil springs and its 9550 VSS shocks for life against defects in materials and workmanship, and paint and powder coat finishes for 90 days (defects only). TeraFlex's warranty list names no separate term for the coil spring spacers in the Gladiator 2.5" kit, so contact us if you need that term before ordering.- TeraFlex extends its limited warranty only to the consumer who first bought the product, and only on the vehicle the part was first installed on. It does not pass to a later owner.
- Coverage starts on the purchase date and does not restart if a part is repaired or replaced.
- For a covered defect, TeraFlex will either repair or replace the product (or the faulty part) free of charge or refund the purchase price, at its discretion, and it pays the freight to send a repaired or replacement part back to you.
- Not covered: damage from transportation, storage, improper use, skipped instructions or preventive maintenance, modifications, unauthorized repair, normal wear and tear, product finish, improper installation or maintenance, racing or competition, or accidents, abuse and neglect. Improper installation, poor maintenance, racing or competition use, and neglect or abuse void the warranty.
- Paint and powder coat finishes carry 90 days of defect coverage only, not wear from use.
- Claims: contact us first. Keep your proof of purchase or original invoice; removing the part from the vehicle and the inbound shipping are the owner's responsibility.

Inspect on delivery
Check that every spring, spacer and shock matches the part list in the TeraFlex instructions, and that springs are marked for the right axle, before you start. Contact us right away about anything missing or damaged. Check it as soon as it arrives.- Look for crushed ends, punctures or tears in the carton.
- If something looks wrong, take photos of the box and the parts (and if a driver asks you to sign, note the damage on the receipt).
- Open the box and check the parts against the parts list before you install.
